That performance of ‘Respect’ has garnered so much media and social media attention. Since NBC uploaded it onto their official YouTube channel, it is now number #4 trending. Most of the media’s comments have focused on both Ariana’s and especially Kelly’s vocals. It’s unbelievably rewarding to be long-term fans of an artist who is at her vocal peak from every facet of her voice AND who delivers flawless performances practically every single day on mainstream TV as a media staple for years now. There’s not a single mainstream female singer at her level today, IMO.

As for Christmas Isn't Cancelled (Just You). First few listens. It's good. Although I would say not as strong as Christmas Eve, Under The Mistletoe, and/or most of the Wrapped In Red originals.

Stylistically it's quite choppy (changed tempos and structure a bit), but it's sort of a doo-woppy/Grease style track.

Nice to see the track list! The covers all look pretty strong, especially excited for "Last Christmas" and "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree." It's more of a typical holiday album than I was hoping for, and it's obviously got huge shoes to fill, but I'm so, so excited for new music from her.

If Rockin or JBR don't go as hard on campy Christmas rock as Run Run Rudolph, I'll be so upset.

A little sad there doesn't seem to be a ballad she can unleash a lush orchestra on like Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Maybe one of the originals does that instead.

She also better be touching on some jazz too. Would be awesome to hear IBTLALLC or Santa Baby in that style like My Favorite Things.

God, Wrapped in Red set my expectations so damn high.

This definitely looks like Wrapped in Red, part 2, and I'm excited to hear her original songs which were the standouts of Wrapped in Red.

I’m pretty happy with that track list overall, she will do a lot of those songs justice. I feel like she followed her WIR formula when coming up with this track list, a little of everything. Love that there’s so many originals. The cover is meh, wish it were more festive and less “home made” looking.

I’m not surprised at all by her cover choices. Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree was begging to be formally recorded by her. I hate Santa Baby, I remember some of us suspecting it would be on WIR since she mentioned loving it at one point. Ultimately she went with 4 Carats for that same vibe. I hope Jingle Bell Rock is in the same vein as Run Run Rudolph, the latter really surprised me on WIR and ended up being one of my favorites.

Disappointed there’s no re-recording of Silent Night after Reba destroyed the WIR version. And what do I have to do to get her to record a proper O Holy Night?? (That Home or whatever it’s called one still doesn’t count!)

Why did I start singing “Santa tell me, if you’re really there…” when I read the title of the Ariana duet?? LOL.

Edit: Oh and I didn’t even notice Last Christmas!! I can’t wait for that, I can’t think of a more fitting song to cover for this since WIR was made with her new love in mind.

Pleasantly surprised it's coming out in less than a month!

Wrapped in Red is one of my favorite albums ever, holiday or not. Excited to hear how WIR's sound flows into this one and if I can think of them as one body of work.

After years of Kelly complaining about not being able to get anyone to sing with her, the third act in her career has been a blessing on that front. So stoked to see her land Chris Stapleton and Ariana for the album -- that's huge!

The only thing I like about the purple dress (and I'm sure this is just my mind) but red and blue combined is purple.... so like it's Wrapped in Red but she's sad/Blue. Idk /dumb. But she looks gorgeous.

Anyway... SUPEr excited for this. I feel like the Ariana song (assuming it's fun/upbeat) is the one that's going to get the most attention despite not being the lead, especially on streaming.
