Does anybody know why kworb wonβt no longer show the full 1500 places of the Apple Music song chart? It stops at #200 for every major country now. Kworb also doesnt show positions higher than 200 on Itunes as well. And the Spotify updates are stuck for days

How does Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home) look? Will Lil Nas X make it go recurrent? I hope not, I really want it to make the year-end list.

Perhaps a little randomly, the Pokemon theme is in the Top 100 on iTunes. Won't do anything chart wise obviously, sales are low, but it's still funny.

From what we have seen, at least, Drunk (And I Don't Want To Go Home) will stay on the charts or go recurrent based on whether or not it is being actively pushed on one or more radio genres, regardless of where it sits on the charts. The Lil Nas X album bomb would not affect its radio fate, so even if it loses positions it should still have the bullet it would need to avoid recurrency this week. How long it goes on will depend on whether or not it keeps that bullet, because its odds of going into the top 50 at this point do not appear to be great.

Wouldn't complain because Drunk is a great song. Phigeales can't complain about this one because this song did have legitimate good streaming and sales for a while

Drunk and I Don't Wanna Go Home is gaining on country radio - that is the reason it is not recurrent
One Too Many went recurrent when country radio dropped it and not before

And let us not forget that OTM did get 100M streams on Spotify and that its comparative sales and streaming, especially earlier in its run, are what allowed the song to rack up so many weeks before it finally got picked up on radio long enough to secure its own YE position and its place as the only sub-50 song so far to have 34 weeks or more on the chart.

I hope Lil Nas X has a trick up his sleeve. Seems odd that heβs that close to #1 and wouldnβt try to go for it. A midweek remix or anything at this point could help.

It's prolly bc the biggest prediction pages TOTC and simon don't do predictions anymore and those were the ones that went viral and would get celebs' attention. He's also more focused on promoting the album. Getting a #1 album is definitely the priority for him. That one is a lot closer too

Not nearly as much as supporting the album itself tho lmao. He's very knowledgable about the charts considering the fact that he used to be part of stan twitter. He should have released a 2nd version/remixes of the song or dropped different versions of it on youtube like he did with montero. Squandered opportunities honestly. If his album doesn't go #1 that's gonna be rly unfortunate considering he prolly would've had the #1 album almost any other week lmao

Maybe βIndustry Babyβ will have a chance again in a couple weeks after radio is higher and BTS is done with their carnage on the charts? Its streams seem to be holding up very well so I donβt see it losing much steam. Iβm not writing off a #1 for IB if it doesnβt happen this week.

I think itβs this week or bust for Industry Baby, as far as the Hot 100 #1 goes. Even if the Coldplay/BTS thing is a one-week wonder, Fancy Like is almost certainly going to jump ahead of IB in a few weeks time.

I like the idea of a Lil Nas X hit without any gimmicks, Industry Baby being such a big hit without any tactics to get it to #1 is cool. Once in a while it's fine to let the song just ride, at the end of the day the track has great streaming and still has a ways before it peaks on radio, so it should have decent longevity even if it doesn't get #1.

I really don't think Fancy Like is going #1, maybe #2. But really it's streaming and radio isn't there to push it past Stay.

I really don't think Fancy Like is going #1, maybe #2. But really it's streaming and radio isn't there to push it past Stay. "FL" is now top 15 at country with a huge bullet. If it gets to #1 there it would be over 30 million impressions. It is approaching top 20 at Top 40 radio. If it were to go top 10 there, it could get 30 million impressions or more. It also has a big bullet at Hot AC. If it peaks at all 3 formats at a similar time, it could easily threaten for #1 in airplay. Its sales have been steadily strong, so it has that metric going for it as well.

September is #2 at iTunes.
Not many other than the BTS Army paid attention to this happening today:

I mean regardless of whether MONTERO or INDUSTRY BABY goes to number one or not, he'll still have 2/3 songs in the Top 10 and the album would still be one of the best albums of the year. It's a win for him no matter what happens.

The 9/25 Hot 100 chart I'm looking at has Fancy Like at #5 (and believe it or not, above IB). The reason why IB is moving above FL is this week is because of the album release, and that boost is only temporary. I fully expect FL to move back above IB. FL is almost certainly going to be a #1 soon. It's #1 in sales (without a discount, I might add) and rapidly growing on radio. There aren't any songs that are bigger threats out there right now. The only one that really comes close is Heat Waves, and that is missing the radio it needs to compete with FL.

Must be some absurd number of sales it's getting. Rising airplay as well which can prove to be a threat... Although the streaming numbers aren't anything great. It's probably going to fizzle out but yea, no chance of going #1 unless theres an increase in streams when the airplay is near/at it's peak
