And I just want to say her vocal ability on that song is perfect. How she starts off slow and then it builds up and she ends the song on a beautiful note. How she sustains the notes and her breath control is amazing. Her overtones and her vocal texture is perfect. Regina doesn't get her props as a talented singer. The only person who could sing that song and do it better is Whitney Elizabeth Houston!

29. Where Do We Go From Here - Stacy Lattisaw & Johnny Gill

DC relatives Stacy and Johnny teamed up for the first time since the mid-1980's for what would become their biggest duet, and Stacy's only #1 on the R&B chart. At the time of the song's release, their careers were going in different directions. Johnny's solo career was just about to take off, but for Stacy, this was the end of the line. She never hit the charts again after this and switched over to gospel music.

28. Spread My Wings - Troop

Formed in Pasadena, Troop hit the top for the first time with "Spread My Wings", which was produced and written by Chuckii Booker. It helped their sophomore album Attitude go gold.

Steve Russell would later co-write the Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown duet "No Air". Sadly, another member, Reggie Warren, passed away earlier this year at age 52.

I love that Johnny Gill song so much and completely forgot about it. All I can hear when I think of Johnny is STROKE! Shocked Jerk Out and BBD are still in. Everything else makes sense. Spread My Wings was a personal favorite (I had Attitude on cassette as a kid!) but I get why it didn't make it far. Pulse doesn't like nice, positive songs.
