Pretty damn quiet week. Seems that the Rod Wave song will debut either this week or the previous one, maybe the Kali Uchis/Ozuna song will show up or the remix of Wild Side will give it a slight boost for its final week, but other than those, not much going on. I expect a lot more returning Christmas music to fill in for the lack of activity.

Nah, I don’t think their collab would be crazy successful. Like it’d go number one debut week from hype alone but I’d bet it be somewhat alienating to both of their fanbases and fall off rather quickly, kind of like a Look What You Made Me Do chart run

My dream collab is Drake and Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine (most people don't know but she and Drake have been very good friends since 2010). They were meant to collab on their 2011 albums (Florence with a guest appearance on Take Care and Drake with a guest appearance on Ceremonials but they never got around to it for some reason). They're remained friends but those collabs have remained elusive (to my torture because Florence, like Drake, is one of my faves). June 29, 2018 was like Christmas for me because they both happened to drop albums on that day.

What about a Justin Bieber/The Weeknd collab, we haven't seen that one. I also find it weird as Biebs is good friends with Drake, he hasn't collaborated with him since he was a teenager.

Or better yet, a collab with all three.

^ The thing with most music industry collabs, especially the ones which are truly organic, is that they're really just about timing and finding the right song that works for every artist involved. In most cases, that's easier said than done but collabs, when done right, could be magical.

Eh. I might not like Drake but at least he's got presence and personality. There's nothing Bieber could add to a Weeknd song that Abel can't do already (hell, some Bieber songs even sound like he's aping Abel's style).

I know I just said we sometimes shouldn't care about charts but to me a Drake x Bieber collab will only be interesting if only to see the streams they could pull.

I'm pretty sure that's just an import, I think I read that it's just the UK edition of one of the vinyl and it also says "Import" on the top left.
