Random that βWhite Christmasβ is outstreaming Mariah, but Iβm not mad at it. Was there a snow storm somewhere in the U.S. that perhaps caused the lead? Iβve been noticing more and more βweatherβ related song titles are having streaming longevity (Sweater Weather, Heat Waves). This seems to be the only explanation I can come up with.

I have no idea about whats going in The US, but maybe White Christmas got there because there's some kind of widespread reporting about first significant snow? I mean, if this is [insert any act with a large fanbase that would engage in chart manipulation here], we can chalk it up to that, but we're talking about a song by someone who's been dead for over 40 years.

If anything weather related ever impacts streaming, it's not people streaming songs about weather lmao. It usually has to do with power blackouts causing songs to lose streams (it happened earlier this year during the Texas blackouts)

I noticed that Elton lost a format while gaining spins. I presume that it's the 8th day effect on AC radio. The only song that doesn't seem to be affected by these rolling effects is Stay. It's pretty ridiculous that 5 months into its run and in holiday season, it is still above 100M aud and getting positive updates. |

Notice that with the exception of "WC" and whatever happened there, older holiday songs gained more than the modern ones (Mariah lost ground to its main competition while Ariana, Kelly, and Justin fell in terms of positions while the older songs rose in position).
