Elton & Ed are already #1 in sales. I'd expect there to be at least middling radio and significant streaming.
There's a good chance Merry Christmas could debut at or near the top of the Hot 100, carolblocking Mariah.

He was involved in the production of most of her hit singles so far. I consider both Doja and Kim victims in a way, as they got screwed over by a contract with a less than savoury individual. I just hope they can get away from him eventually. |

I always found it a bit sketchy that all of the official singles from Planet Her are all a certain doctor's produced/written tracks despite Woman, Get Into It (Yuh), and Ain't s**t all performing incredibly well in streaming and could have easily been the singles instead

Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" (Columbia) is the gift that keeps on giving. The song has become the first and only holiday single to receive the RIAA's diamond award (that’s 10 million copies, mind you). The 1994 modern yuletide classic was co-written and co-produced by Carey and longtime collaborator Walter Afanasieff.
Also today (12/3), Apple TV+ offers Carey's second holiday extravaganza, Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues.

That Juice/Justin song isn’t doing quite as well on AM as I was expecting. Apparently some of Juice’s fans didn’t like the more upbeat direction his handlers took the original cut in, which might explain the performance.

OVER 1 TRILLION SERVED On-demand streaming has surpassed 1 trillion chart eligible U.S. plays for the first time ever. Nearly 90% of the total comes from on-demand audio, which also just recorded its biggest week yet with more than 20 billion listens.
The next barrier to break is the 1 trillion mark for audio alone. Through 11/25, about 870 billion audio tracks have been streamed. With five weeks left in the chart year, each week would have to average slightly more than last week's record-breaking total to hit the mark, but with Christmas music surging, it's not out of the question.
For the overall industry, total activity (albums + tracks + streams) is projecting a little over 900 million album equivalents by year's end, an increase of 100 million units and 13% vs. last year. Currently, total streaming is up nearly 10% over last year. Friday, December 3, 2021
There were 872.6B Audio streams in 2020, 870B+ already. (catalogue streaming is carrying a big part of the weight but still)

How well did the juice single from 2 weeks ago do on its first day AM Pretty well considering that was the same day as Taylor’s album bomb. This time, even with a smaller album bomb from Polo G, the results are more underwhelming. |
