Welcome to the combined folklore/evermore rankdown!!!
It's been 1 year since Taylor Swift guided us deeper into the wonder of the folklorian woods, with her ninth studio album, evermore, the sequel and sister to her eighth studio album, folklore. To celebrate evermore's birthday, your favorite rankdown hosting team, #TeamTaylor (fearlessarrow , born , and myself) have reunited and returned once again to wrap up the folklorian era!!! Rather than do updated rankdowns for these albums individually, we've decided to combine the albums together into one 34-song rankdown! We figure things will be a LOT more interesting (and potentially messy
) this way. That, and we're also just pure evil and want you to suffer through the torture of deciding between "august" and "no body, no crime."
Directions/Notes from the Host:
1. Please rank all 34 songs listed in the song list below. You'll notice that we have added the original version of "the lakes" as well as all four remixes of "willow," so that you can choose which version you prefer best! You can rank that version among the rest of the songs.
2. Please send your list PM to all three of us (fearlessarrow , born , and taylor ). If you only send to one or two of us, we'll do the best we can to include you in the final results, but if we miss your list because you didn't follow this simple direction, it's your faultand we would like to be excluded from the narrative.
3. PLEASE NUMBER YOUR LIST. This is a 34-song rankdown and numbering your list (with #1 being your favorite and #34 being your least favorite) would just be super helpful to us; it will keep us from missing a song and will just keep things running smoothly. Not many people refrain from numbering their lists, so this shouldn't (and hopefully won't) be too big of an issue. Just know that if your list isn't numbered, you will be asked to do so. Lists will not be counted if they are not numbered. I know this sounds strict, but part of the fun of these things is that results are completely accurate, and don't have to be reposted...because that's just a hassle. (Trust me, I had to do this with the Shania Twain Come On Over rankdown...and I was almost to the Top 10
) The only mess we wanna see is your reaction to the results 
4. You can listen to this playlist on either Apple Music or Spotify; just choose which of the two you like best!!! Please note however that for some strange reason, "cardigan" does not play on Apple Music. I've tried countless times, and it's never worked. So I don't know what happened, but hopefully Apple notices it soon!!! If "cardigan" does not play for you, feel free to try the Spotify playlist, or just go to YouTube.
5. Anyone is free to send a list even if you weren't tagged in this post. If you would like to be added to or excluded from the tag list, please let us know so we can do that for you.
6. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in-thread or via PM to one of us and we will answer them!
7. The due date is Friday, January 14, exactly five weeks from today. We realize this is likely to be right in the middle of the annual year-end craze, and those are much larger rankdowns, so we'll give you more time if needed, but since we're already familiar with both of these albums it shouldn't take you too long! In any case however, we will accommodate you.
8. We'll tag you for each reveal when they come around, so after you submit, sit back and enjoy the results (and maybe comment too if you wish)!
