Predictions for Dawn FM: -probably like 3 top 10 debuts given how weak the charts are atm -If the song with Lil Wayne gets released as a single with a video I could see it challenging for the #1 spot -Tyler gets his first top 10 -The first obvious pop single pick also enters the top 10 -Overall 5-6 songs in the top 20 nah I'm a huge fan of Abel, but I don't see this happening. He'll probably debut with one song (2nd single?) in the top 10, and probably 3 or 4 songs in the top 40. p.s. that album cover is...I hope he's joking with us. Under normal conditions sure, but the charts are at their weakest right now so that's not really a crazy prediction to make in my opinion. Wayne is able to open with huge numbers, so is Tyler, and these will be major features for them, so the streaming should be strong, especially if we get another pop single. We're talking about Abel, but I could also see Marren and Cordae getting top 40 debuts with how things are looking

at that Dawn FM cover Reminds me of the application that made an old version of you a couple of years back (and you gave all your personal details to Russian government in return)

I think this would be another BBTM-Starboy transition. The former was a mega smash with its hits and was long lived while the latter was a lot more messier but still had its own records and still did great overall, it’s just that it didn’t last long charts wise.

I’m not so sure about the second one. I could have sworn Levitating was #1 on iTunes during that tracking week when it was #2 on the Hot 100.

Did my eyes just trick me or is Hrs & Hrs still absent from the Spotify 200? It’s #2 on US Apple Music for over a week now.

Starboy is probably a bigger album than BBTM. Has more streams on Spotify AND gets more daily streams, so it's better remembered. So if the Dawn FM manages to get more streams on Spotify than After Hours, Abel would be incredibly happy

If Dawn FM gets more remembered than After Hours that would be insanity although unlikely to happen as BL exists. Despite TMB most likely being on the album, he is taking the MDM approach and releasing the entire project at once without any prior singles to hype up anticipation. The only difference being that it is a full length album so it’s definitely going to be promoted more.

The best way to know how Dawn FM will do is to see how it does when it is released, and we can see how it streams, sells, etc.

Abel knows that you guys are tired seeing him keep dying in MVs, so he decided to do the 2nd best thing, getting older. If his videos gonna have old man Abel instead of dead Abel, I'm in.

he seems to have a fascination with aging and death... I support people having unusual passions, but I'm not here for Abel looking 80 in his next MV no offense to old people

The main producers of the "Dawn FM" are: The Weeknd, Max Martin (well...), Oneohtrix Point Never (he co-produced some songs on After Hours), Oscar Holter (he is a co-producer/writer of Blinding Lights, In Your Eyes, Take My Breath, Save Your Tears, Katy's Bon Appetit and Cry About It Later, Carly's Run Away With Me, Charli's 1999 and Good Ones, Coldplay's Higher Power...) and Quincy Jones (the best known for producing Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall", "Thriller" and "Bad").
Because of Quincy Jones, there's a rumor that Weeknd x MJ collab will be on the album. Not to mention Abel posted a poster of MJ (and wrote "downloading") 3 months ago.

His past eras music is doing better than the music preceding his new era on streaming right now mess.
Apple Music: 53. Blinding Lights 157. Die For You
73. One Right Now N/A Take My Breath N/A Moth To A Flame N/A Lost In The Fire
Spotify: 54. Blinding Lights 79. Save Your Tears (Remix) 112. Die For You 135. Save Your Tears 149. The Hills
27. One Right Now 162. Moth To A Flame 167. Lost In The Fire N/A Take My Breath
I wonder which of the 4 singles are going to make the release and which will be standalone'd.

At least the "Let It Go" that hit top 10 is the Idina Menzel's version and not the Demi Lovato's version. Because attaching collabs onto albums for total SPS has obviously become common in the current era? Un Dia/Prisoner is on Dua's album, Sam Smith's recent album had like 3 collab singles released over 2 years attached onto it, Senorita added to Camila's album, etc, etc. They were released in the last few months preceding the album (except for Lost In The Fire which I mistakenly thought was a 2021 single) and don't seem to be intended for an album by Swedish House/Post at the moment so yeah... it's not insane to simply wonder if they were gonna instead be on Weeknd's album.
