Glad "Easy on Me" has reigned for as long as it has. And with album-bomb tracks retreating, it's back top 10 again on the streaming chart.
I haven't yet watched Encanto, so I haven't heard the "...Bruno" song. We'll probably watch the movie on D+ soon, so that will be my introduction.

streaming era 10 week #1s "Old Town Road"Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus: 20 weeks #1 Streaming [0 radio] "Despacito"Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber: 16 weeks Streaming [5 radio] "The Box"Roddy Ricch: 13 weeks Streaming [0 radio] "Uptown Funk"Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars: 12 weeks Streaming [12 radio] "Closer"The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey: 12 weeks Streaming [11 radio] "God's Plan"Drake: 11 weeks Streaming [0 radio]
"Butter"BTS: 18 weeks sales [0 radio] "Happy"Pharrell Williams: 11 weeks sales [8 radio] "Blurred Lines"Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell Williams: 10 weeks sales [11 radio] "Shape of You"Ed Sheeran: 10 weeks sales [12 radio]
"See You Again"Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth: 8 weeks streaming + 7 weeks sales (15) [6 radio] "In My Feelings"Drake: 8 weeks Streaming + 6 weeks sales (14) [0 radio] "Hello"Adele: 7 weeks Streaming + 7 weeks sales (14) [11 radio] "One Dance"Drake featuring Wizkid and Kyla ***only topped sales/streams a bit, however it had no video. It topped Spotify for 15 weeks. And still made 12 weeks in the top 2 for Streaming w/o a video. [5 radio] "Easy on Me"Adele: 5 weeks Streaming/Spotify + 2 weeks sales (7)
Definitely a radio fueled anomaly.
And just in case you're wondering, without Christmas songs, that would add 1 week to Adele's streaming total, so 6+2=8.

The big winner of this week will be the Madrigal family. Luisa who didn't sing on "Bruno" got her solo top 10 with "Surface Pressure". So technically, all members of Madrigal family are in the top 10. I'm sure Abuela is so proud right now. Sadly, Bruno himself doesn't, because unless I'm mistaken he doesn't sing on WDTAB.

Does Adele have the most weeks at #1 with the least amount of songs?

Does Adele have the most weeks at #1 with the least amount of songs? No, it’s Boyz II Men. They spent a bulk of their time at #1 with The End of the Road, I’ll Make Love to You, and One Sweet Day.

" Easy on Me"Adele: 5 weeks Streaming/Spotify + 2 weeks sales (7) Definitely a radio fueled anomaly. And just in case you're wondering, without Christmas songs, that would add 1 week to Adele's streaming total, so 6+2=8. EOM was technically the best selling song for 3 weeks (10/30, 11/20 and 12/4). On 12/4, it became the first song to simultaneously rank at #1 in airplay, streaming and sales since Despacito. also, weeks at #1 don't tell the whole story. Blinding Lights is the biggest song of all time, and it only spent 4 weeks at #1 on sales and 1 week on streaming...but it was the 2nd best selling song of 2020 and 7th of 2021. It was also the 3rd most streamed song of 2020 and 7th of 2021. But based on its run at #1 on airplay (26 weeks), you could say it was at #1 just because of the airplay, which isn't true.

Does Adele have the most weeks at #1 with the least amount of songs? This can’t be answered perfectly because there are two constraints, but I know Drake has 52 weeks with 9 songs, and he used to have 49 with 6. Whether that’s more impressive than Adele (34 with 5 songs) is up to you.

“Surface Pressure” is the seventh song from an animated Disney movie to hit the top ten.
“Beauty and the Beast”: #9 (1992) “A Whole New World”: #1 (1993) “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”: #4 (1994) “Colors of the Wind”: #4 (1995) “Let It Go”: #5 (2014) “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”: #2 (2022) “Surface Pressure”: #10 (2022)

"Damn Daniel" with Bree Runway should have been a #1 smash but I digress, glad to see her charting

Happy to see "Easy On Me" #1 for a 10th week! Looks like "We Don't Talk About Bruno" could get to #1 afterall with it having been underestimated. Glad to see it at #2!
I hope "Easy On Me" gets an 11th week just to break the tie at 9th for artists with most weeks at #1.

Go Bruno! So happy with that song and the soundtrack's unexpected success!
Happy for Adele's 10th week at #1 too!

I mean, last year these threads had hundreds of posts complaining about Butter's sales fueled endless weeks on top so. This is the radio equivalent.

It actually peaked at #2 in streaming, iirc just behind Happy (?)

iHype- I was wondering if Adele would now rank in the top 100. Good to know.
As for another discussion in this thread- I wouldn't exactly compare "Easy on Me" to "Butter." EOM topped three radio formats for multiple weeks, and hit the top 10 at a couple of others, and even cracked top 40 at rhythmic and country. It's an undisputed multi-format smash. Plus, it's performed well in both streaming and sales. "Butter" enjoyed a great sales advantage over others, and that is simply because the fanbase was that dedicated- while other acts' fanbases have not been as structured/coordinated/etc.
In "Butter's" ninth week at No. 1, it was No. 21 in airplay (I think it got as high as 20 or maybe slightly higher?), and dropped 40-44 on the streaming chart. "Easy on Me" is performing notably better in terms of ranks in its less-dominant metrics of sales and streaming than "Butter" did in airplay and streaming.
Now, anyone taking issue with the Adele smash reigning: just take the lady's advice and go eeeeeaaaaaaaassssy on her, baby...

Streaming was a thing. It peaked #2 on Streaming so obviously it existed on Streaming. Only #4 on Spotify though.

I mean, last year these threads had hundreds of posts complaining about Butter's sales fueled endless weeks on top so. This is the radio equivalent. I mean yeah, it's basically the same thing... Easy On Me | stream | radio | sales | 1st week at #1 | #1 | #4 | #1 | 2nd week | #1 | #4 | #3 | 3rd week | #1 | #2 | #2 | 4th week | #1 | #2 | #1 | 5th week | #1 | #1 | #1* | 6th week | #4 | #1 | #4 | 7th week | #7 | #1 | #6 | 8th week | #5 | #1 | #4 | 9th week | #16* | #1 | #5 | 10th week | #9 | #1 | #7 |
*#1 it wasn't #1 on digital, but it was the best selling song. "30" was released that week. *#16 two album bombsButter | stream | radio | sales | 1st week at #1 | #4 | #39 | #1 | 2nd week | #10 | #32 | #1 | 3rd week | #19 | #28 | #1 | 4th week | #24 | #25 | #1 | 5th week | #18 | #22 | #1 | 6th week | #31 | #23 | #1 | 7th week | #26 | #21 | #1 | 8th week | #40 | #21 | #1 | 9th week | #44 | #21 | #1 | 10th week | #35 | / | #1 |

If you can't see the difference between being heard an estimated 99M times (even if everyone heard it three times, it's still reaching 33M people through radio) vs 100k copies (being bought by as little as 7.5k people), then I don't know what to say.

I didn't say "same thing," "no difference." It is the most radio fueled 10 week #1. Butter is the most sales fueled 10 week #1.
Bruno could be in the position of being the only song to top sales/streaming/Spotify yet still somehow get blocked.
