Anyway, love the production, awesome vocals, but... I feel like she's done this same song better like 15 times now when it comes to theme/lyrics. Totally fine for the brand deal here, but I'm really hoping this isn't supposed to be the next single or anything.

I hate to be this type of person but...enough with these "Your special, you're perfect" songs. We've heard them a million times and unless it's a really good song that brings something new she can keep it. Yeah it gave me a flashback to the age of Firework, f**king Perfect and We R Who We R. |

There's nothing wrong with doing inspirational music. If the material is right, Lizzo has the talent to make it very believable.

Honestly, I hate to say it but I think her days are numbered on radio. The only way she wonβt be is if she releases a smash. And this nor the last single were βitβ. Inspirational songs are fine but people get sick of the same old thing. This slow rap thing is almost nauseating. And I hate saying that about Lizzoβs work.

It hit a new peak on the Hot 100 after its radio run had ended for a while, there was definitely interest in it. I genuinely think she wouldβve re-sent βJuiceβ to pop if GAH didnβt blow up, too. βJuiceβ didnβt have a big run in the US, no, but itβs fairly well known & 2x platinum. |

Juice was definitely a smash in the making. It quite likely opened the door for her other hits to smash and I think it could have had a re-release and done considerably better. Itβs so much more natural in its message than last yearβs song with Cardi, which felt a bit forced to me.

"Juice" did quite well in a number of countries and has been a great trickle seller/streamer despite its low peaks, being 2x platinum in the US and platinum in the UK (plus some other certifications in other countries). |

Hopefully Atlantic is prepared to pump the funds into this, because this doesnβt sound like something people would give a fck about unless force-fed it. Additionally this is so opposite of her social media personality that people identify her with (yet at the same time fits perfectly into that corny crybaby sht she does when people say theyβre tired of seeing the back of her) that itβs likeβ¦who is the audience youβre even catering to at this point? She flopped with a Cardi feature. She really needs to come swinging. Best of luck to her this era.
With that said, this sounds like it may potentially be cute. The production reminds me of early Kanye.
