When the song first dropped, she was getting a wave of comments and tweets about how her βfat girlβ schtick is played out and how people only claim to support her music so theyβre not labeled fatphobic. Typical troll s**t but I recall seeing them heavy in the comments of one of her IG lives when Rumors first dropped. Iβm sure a lot of them just saw βnew Lizzo musicβ and defaulted to βhereβs the fat girl shoving her ass in our faces again.β If only everyone hated from behind private accounts. |

Juice didnβt flop because it wasnβt taking off, Truth Hurts took over like a speeding train. You canβt stop that ishh. The issue was it wasnβt re-released after Good As Hell.
And βRumoursβ was trash; yes, people were being fat-phobic, but had the song been an A class song, then the reaction would have outweighed the bad. IMOA. Itβs not because she left and came back lol If she had released About Damn Time, things probably would have been different.
