Still my favorite from FN. There's something so epic about it - I think someone said here it has a specific chord progression found in many well-regarded pop staples or something.

Epic song epic video. I love a lot of Future Nostalgia, so not sure how I'd rank that album but this is amazing.

And the award of "Why tf wasn't this a hit in America?" goes to:
I love when the bridge is the best part of the song, and this is a good example. "Baby keep on dancin! Let's. get. physical!" So much energy!

Her best song AND video. Epic in a way few pop songs are these days. Epic is a good word. So much of recent pop music lacks stakes. โWhere Have You Beenโ by Rihanna is another good example of a dramatic ass pop hit. I love chill stuff too, but I love some melodrama

How this isnโt the most successful pop song of all-time is beyond me

Such a missed opportunity in the US for a radio smash. I still hear this song from time to time.

This was the song that made me a Dua Lipa fan. I had never clicked with any of the material from her debut, and somehow I missed "Don't Start Now" when it came out. I randomly decided to check out "Physical" when we first went into lockdown, which was right before the album came out, and I was surprised at how great it was. It made me excited for the album, and obviously it didn't disappoint. Although most of the songs are very close, I would say this is still my favorite from Future Nostalgia.
I definitely don't feel (future)nostalgic for this yet, the album hasn't even left my regular rotation.

This still remains one of my favorite Dua singles and songs of hers overall. This song is still so epic and has almost no burn rate for me. I love that it has a very strong 80s Synthpop flavor evoking the drama and intensity of classics like "Holding Out For A Hero."
I am horrified that this didn't get a proper push as a single in the U.S. I still wonder if this could have been a huge hit here in the way "Blinding Lights" ended up being.
