One person I’d like to see drop is Post Malone, I want to see whether Motley Crew and ORN were flukes or if he’s just natuarally fading out the public eye.

All of Apple Music’s rolling charts have been frozen since yesterday. Must be technical difficulties on Apple’s end, but if these issues persist, it will make predicting this week’s chart pretty difficult (especially the King Von and DaBaby/YoungBoy album bombs).

I’m going to be bold, but the new Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa collab will spend 9-10 weeks. meOn the charts? At number one? What are we talking here? Also, this is the first I'm hearing of a collab between them, but I'm here for it.

With the exception of Savage, Meg’s songs don’t last too long on radio.

You guys are setting yourselves up for disappointment. Neither Dua nor Meg are on "automatic #1 debut" level yet. "Savage" was a grower and needed a big name remix to actually go #1 later on, and "WAP" was a cultural shocker and had Cardi B. Meanwhile Dua has gotten to #2 twice but both times she grew into that peak after airplay built for months.
Of course if the song is some huge thing a la "WAP", maybe... something that shocking wouldn't really fit what Dua has done so far, though.

I don't see how 30k would translate into a meaningful album bomb.

Yes, I’m well aware that the album will likely not translate into a meaningful album bomb. However, we’ve seen songs that only do decently on Apple Music manage to make the Hot 100 before (especially nowadays with how weak the chart has become), so I wouldn’t be surprised if we get 1-2 songs from the album in question.
But yeah, King Von will absolutely get a bigger album bomb this week.

So for those wondering (like me) why the hell a deepcut from Nirvana is charting at all, let alone debuting in the Top 50, it's because it was apparently used in the recent Batman movie. I haven't seen the movie and don't follow movie Twitter so I wouldn't have known.

I think debut-wise it ain’t gonna reach too high but with time, and if radio pushes it, I believe it could reach very high OR we’ll get the same result as Prisoner/ Demeanor got..

If people love the song to the point of listening repeatedly and it connects at the right time, it'll smash right out of the gate. If not, that's OK, not everything with two massive names on it was meant to do that, but I certainly wouldn't mind a sleeper run after a big debut like with One Right Now. Frankly, between this and Bam Bam, I'm just happy that we're finally getting a couple of big songs from big names to break up the stagnation of mainstream music right now. I'm sick of looking at the Hot 100 and Mediabase Pop Radio Top 10s and seeing the same few songs just sitting there, moving at a snail's pace, and blocking fresher songs from getting higher.

Meg and Dula aren’t quite at auto-#1 yet but I think they’re both in the position to strike, particularly if this song is instantly catchy. As spring approaches, I think people will be craving new music in time for summer and the time is almost perfect for that, both with no real competition, and with both spring coming and things opening up/plans being made (but maybe that’s just in my neck of the woods?). Either way, I can see this song being the perfect storm for the charts just as much as it can be a flash in the pan before being forgotten. So, I guess this entire post is pointless lmao
