She's performing it at the CMA's on the 9th. CA should connect well with a mainly pop audience. I'm also taking this to mean Burn and SDK (if she goes four deep) are the future singles. I’m expecting “Burn” to be a single but if she gives us “She Don’t Know” as well I will be absolutely perched. I didn’t really expect “Hate My Heart” to be performed if she did end up performing. I thought she’d probably go with “Pink Champagne” if she performed since that one probably the best with her pop fans with “Crazy Angels” as a second. I figured PC was off the table after it didn't make the tour. CA promotes the album and tour.

I’m sure she’s using this as a tour promotion slot. I think she’ll do her aerial work during her performance.
I’m 100% here for Burn and SDK as singles 3 & 4.

Carrie tends to favor the singles usually be from the first-half of the album. So far, this album is no different. Tracks 3 & 4 are already singles so I wouldn’t be surprised if Burn is too & SDK from the second-half.

LOVE the video!!! Very well done. I love party Carrie in front of working Carrie, I thought that was pretty clever. A definite step up from the bafflingly trippy GS video.

Definitely her best video in a LOOOOOONG while (probably since LTG or SITW). Such a fun video.

What an excellent video! She looks bloody gorgeous! Her fall at the gym reminded me of Bridget Jones' Diary. I hope the video can help the record start getting radio airplay.

Excited for the show tonight even though I am not too keen on the setlist, honestly. I would love to hear songs like Just A Dream, I Know You Won't, Low, Ghosts On The Radio, That Song..., Smoke Break, and See You Again. But, the fact that I get to hear Cry Pretty and JTTW/HGTA live ALONE makes up for it. I got floor seats and am gonna try to get as close as possible.

Tbh I love the song much more because of the video now lol! Carrie is just so cute in how she incorporated herself as one of the girls & I loved her singing & dancing in front of herself. Now I’m really happy HMH became a single.

That’s the first video of hers in ages with any replay value. I love the early 2000s chick flick energy it radiates. I can actually see it selling the song. Just further proof of why she needs to lose Randee’s number.
Kelsea announced the CMT Awards are taking place in Austin, TX next year. Carrie is the first announced performer. The official press release confirms that tonight is a sold-out D&R show for Carrie.

I am still BEYOND SHOOK, but if y'all want my thoughts (plus a bunch of video content), go to my Facebook (Lee Wilson - I'm drinking a glass of wine in my profile pic, natch.) This post will be public, for the world to see my love.

The best performance I have seen on stage after Beychella. She made it look so easy. I thought I was gonna be too tired to stand in the pit so long, but Carrie's energy was infectious and I never got even remotely tired. While I would've loved to have had Pink Champagne and Faster performances, the band was so tight and sharp that I didn't mind them being reduced to interludes. Her voice during Jesus Take The Wheel x HGTA had me shook to my core (too bad this guy next to me was screeching along. Like...why??) Carrie moving all over every part of the stage with such confidence put a smile on my face throughout. Ghost Story and Crazy Angels were nice acrobatic moments, especially CA, when she had her head hanging off the end of her seat upside down and was still singing her ass off. The Welcome To The Jungle cover was badass but the drum solo on Poor Everybody Else followed immediately by throwing the sticks and strutting down the runway while belting...honestly iconic. NO one else is doing this. My only regret is seeing videos beforehand but it's probably for the best that I did. I would have died of shock otherwise.
Sadly, I didn't see as much of Jimmie Allen as I originally planned, after listening to his songs that morning. That said, I get why Carrie selected him as an opener. No other country male can hold his own vocally. Also, when he took his shirt off at the end to sign it and give it to a fan and then walked down the runway...WHEW. I saw quite a few guys hold their girls a little tighter. The BODY!!
It was a cool bonus to see Kelsea come out to present Carrie with a championship belt and to announce the CMTs will be held at the Moody Center next year. That should be interesting. I wish Kelsea sang something though.
Overall, I give this concert a solid A, with slight demerit for not having more ballads, but...WHAT. A. FUCKING. ENTERTAINER. I am so grateful I experienced Carrie so close.

I love the video and it's great overall; my only quibble (and it's a small one) is I wish there was less of the 'performance' aspect in the first half so it would have more impact in the back half. Still, the concept is cute, and I love the all-woman band.

I love how Carrie and her team post pictures and shout out the city on Facebook after every single tour stop! Most artists don’t do that right? Idk I just feel like we are so dang spoiled sometimes being Carrie fans lol

I loved the video, and it made me like the song a little more. Still not my favorite song by any means but it might grow on me.
Was this a different director than her last few videos? I thought her last handful were kind of awful but this one is tremendous. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

The "HMH" video was directed by Shaun Silva, who also directed the "If I Didn't Love You" video. The "Ghost Story" video was directed by Randee St Nicholas, who also directed the videos for "Hallelujah," "Drinking Alone," and more.

Tributing Alan Jackson and Loretta Lynn in one night, a solo performance, and nominations!? No matter how it ends, it’ll be a great night for Carrie fans! It’s a win in itself to have that much airtime, honestly.
I love how she cashes in on the CMAs every year; they may not give her her due in terms of hardware, but she sure milks the night for all it’s worth every year!
Very much looking forward to the show, the overall lineup is pretty great! I’m looking forward to a number of performances.

"IIDLY" lost out to Carly Pearce & Ashley McBryde for Musical Event of the Year. I assume this night is probably going to be a bust, but at least we'll get a good performance out of it.
