I haven’t read about any notices of filming for the audiences, so I doubt these shows were officially filmed. After the Chaka co-write surfaced, I’ve been wondering if there’s a Duets project in the works.
Also - she was having a blast in Hawaii and sounding terrific. She covered “I Love Rock N Roll,” “Love Shack” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Love this! How she sings “hold on to that feeling” 🫠 ETA: With Carrie on the GMA Concert series Aug 2nd, maybe we'll get the announcement of something this Friday, July 26th. I know they did two shows, but maybe Hawaii was also a nice vacation for her and her band before they head into the next project. It just seems like such an odd one-off promo event considering there's nothing to promote (aside from Vegas, which is what it will likely be for…) |

Carrie has performed in all 50 states with Hawaii being the 50th.
I'm like everyone else who's wondering what Carrie has planned for us with her Concert on GMA, and She has the Tody Keith Concert taping Monday that will air at the end of August on NBC.

One of the very few times I preferred the original to Kelly’s version! She sounds amazing, as always, but BA is almost tailored for Carrie’s voice.

She posted on Facebook that there's a Fit52/Calia announcement coming soon, so that explains GMA. It's just Fit52 stuff. Lol

Lol It’s possible but why would she be doing a concert to plug her fitness app? I still think it’s something else. Also Carrie split with Calia a couple years ago, so the announcement regarding the upcoming announcement is just about Fit52. |

I just can’t believe Team CU would use an entire concert series slot on GMA to promote an app. In addition to the fact that the news of the app updates will already be out by then. It will for sure be brought up in the interview portion. I just don’t think that’s all this is. I could be wrong though.

The Fit52 announcement was that new workout options were made available in the app.
I don’t think that will have anything to do with the GMA spot. Really have no idea what this is going to entail, but the total silence/nothingness on the music front is leading me to believe that this might just be…a random televised showing for her. Like, I have no idea what else this could be. Maybe promo for the August run of Vegas dates?
Even in the past, in the build-up to new music, there’s been some sort of teaser shared ahead of time.

There was no build up for OOTT. It's possible that was a test run for surprise dropping an album. Especially since CD sales are dead and she doesn't sell vinyls so there's not really an incentive for a long build up.
I don't expect it to be that of course, but it's far more likely a prospect then it was 18 months ago.

Just announced more Vegas dates in March and April 2025. Hopefully GMA isn’t just to promo this, but it’s what I expect at this point.
