"Denim & Rhinestones" is an 80s bop throwbak. Love it!
"Ghost Story" giving me classic Carrie
"Burn" is like the Country twin sister to Jojo's "Too Little Too Late"
"Crazy Angels" is giving me Fleetwood Mac 80s stuff teas
"Faster" is one of her best ballads ever
"Wanted Woman" just wow

100% expect Faster and Wanted Woman to be two of the instrumental interludes during her tour wardrobe changes. I, too, will cry, but I’m preparing myself for the inevitable.
Now if “Garden” gets setlist placement over either of those two, I’ll scream.

100% expect Faster and Wanted Woman to be two of the instrumental interludes during her tour wardrobe changes. I, too, will cry, but I’m preparing myself for the inevitable. To add to it. Out of all of her albums to not excel like she normally does. Why does it have to be this one? This one is quickly rising to among one of my favorites she has put out, one of her stronger efforts.

She sounds glorious in that clip… The song is PERFECT for Carrie’s voice.
GRHOTM was my Oma’s favorite song, and her two favorite country artists were Randy Travis and Vince Gill. I wish she was here to watch Carrie sing it, because all the way until she passed her favorite Carrie song was her cover of ITYS… I just know she’d love to watch Carrie cover her all time favorite song…

Burn needs to be a single. End of story. Pink Champagne is easily skippable for me. Crazy Angels and Burn should be singles for sure.

I gotta say y’all, this album still slaps and feels super fresh! I still play it all the way through. No skips. Carrie really outdid herself on this one. I can’t choose a fave album by her but this has got to be up there. 👏

I’ve always been a fan of Vince Gill. Watching the tribute to him tonight reminded me of what a great singer, musician and songwriter he is. This song is one of my favorites. And, with the passing of my sweet Aunt Debbie this week (at the much too young age of 60), hearing Carrie sing this song tonight touched my heart all over again. I know she’s resting high on that mountain right now. Thank you, Vince. Thank you, Carrie. |

That performance was vocal gold. She sang the crap out of that song and it was gorgeous. When you have the original artist in tears, you’ve NAILED it. She should totally do another gospel album down the road and put her cover of this on it.

GRHOTM would play once a day at my Oma’s house after my dad passed, she missed him so much and she never recovered when he left us unexpectedly. Hearing Carrie cover this song so shortly after my Oma got to join my dad (her son) in heaven made this performance so emotional for me. My dad’s birthday was also yesterday… so I’m a fucking mess, but I can’t help but feel so connected to Carrie on a spiritual level. She always comes through for me in this way… forever grateful to Carrie and her talent, and to Vince for such a beautiful song!

GREAT CHOICE if true! But she pre-records a lot of her performances these days, so I’m half wondering if it’s just a taping for something coming up… which might still suggest this as a single, but might not. It could be a tour promo or something for all we know… If it is the single, I think it’ll do really well.
