Here's this week's score update! Question 15A: Will Nicki Minaj debut in the Top 10? (8/27 chart)Top 10? Try #1! For the third time in as many years, Nicki is back on the throne with "Super Freaky Girl" - and only 1 predictor can say they called it! Congrats to kcdawg13 (9%, 1 of 11) for winning the longest bet of the year so far. He wins an incredible 110 points! Question 15B: Will Rod Wave debut a song in the Top 40? (8/27 chart)On the other hand, most called Rod Wave's successful week. "Alone" debuted at #21 (along with Yungen at #35). Props to 85la Baby Yoda Hot100Fan enwhy @imhappy259 kcdawg13 M5AGTS mms82 for predicting this one. They each earn 16 points. Question 14A: Will Calvin Harris chart any songs in the Top 40? (8/20 chart)Calvin Harris wound up debuting at #21...on the bubbling under. All 14 predictors (100%) guessed he would not debut Top 40, and all will earn 10 points. Question 7B: Will there be at least 5 different #1 songs through the 2022 summer season (6/25-9/17 chart; 13 weeks)? An older one finally resolves! "Super Freaky Girl" joins "As It Was", "Jimmy Cooks", "About Damn Time", and "Break My Soul" to become the 5th #1 of the summer. Congrats to Fears in the Fire joshtheking enwhy (25%, 3 of 12) for predicting a high-turnover summer. Each earn 40 points! Looking ahead:- "As It Was" continues to dominate the charts and has all but clinched Song of the Summer. (80% said it would NOT be SOTS)
- While "Super Freaky Girl" and "Jimmy Cooks" have each spent a week on top, it's looking unlikely that rap songs will spend 5+ weeks at #1 this summer (25% predicted 5+ weeks of rap #1's)
- Post and Doja's "I Like You" is still gaining in the top 10. (31% predicted ILY would reach the Top 5)
- "Bad Habit" has continued climbing the top 10 (100% predicted it would go Top 3)
Click here to see full selections & scoresSome smaller moves this week...and then there's kcdawg13, who in his first and only week of predictions, has earned 136 points and jumped to #15 overall. Not a bad start! 1. 1 2. 4 3. 5 (hopefully a double win with the highest Twelve Carat Toothache song) 4. 9 (been a while since OneRepublic gets a Top 10 song) 5. 15 6. 11 (would perform weaker than Cold Heart)

1. #1 - Trying to manifest it lol, but hey radio is picking it up SUPER fast and the streaming has peaked but isn't slowing down at all.
2. #7 - I thought this would get to the top three like ABCDEFU did, but the streaming just isn't there.
3. #3 - The radio darling one-two punch? There's no way this doesn't rise very slowly and stick near the top of the radio charts for months.
4. #10 - This is moving surprisingly slowly for being a hit worldwide. I think it'll last a long time, just not in the top ten.
5. #20 - Great streaming for a country song, this'll do well on the week it peaks on radio for sure.
6. #12 - Damn I really didn't think this would have such a great debut. If the streaming and sales stay just long enough for the radio to get on board, I can see it peaking high.

Bad Habit - #1 Sunroof - #4 I Like You - #6 I Ain't Worried - #6 5 Foot 9 - #17 Hold Me Closer - #10 (I think radio will end up really liking this song, though not as much as Cold Heart)

Bad Habit: #1 - Rising on like 6 radio formats, with remarkably stable streaming. This won't just go #1, I think it'll spend 5-10 weeks there.
Sunroof: #3 - This doesn't have much room to grow anywhere. The peak will more depend on how fast everything around it falls.
I Like You: #5 - It'll probably hit #1 on pop radio. Like everything else doja's worked on this past year, the radio peak will come months after the streaming peak.
I Ain't Worried: #5 - This is growing on streaming and radio. I could see it going even higher if the streaming takes off.
5 Foot 9: #22 - Country songs always seem to peak pretty low, I'm not really sure why.
Hold Me Closer: #6 - This will be the debut position. I think the digital sales are higher than we think!

Here's this week's score update! Question 16A: Will Demi Lovato debut any songs on the Hot 100? (9/3 chart)First, a MAJOR upset: Demi just managed a debut, with her song "29" opening at #96! Still, any debut counts. Congrats to 85la (8%, 1 of 12) for winning with the biggest underdog prediction yet, for a whopping 120 points! Question 16C: Will "Super Freaky Girl" chart at #20 or better in its second week? (9/3 chart)Meanwhile, all 12 predictors (100%) called that Nicki Minaj's "Super Freaky Girl" would hold in the Top 20 in its second week. They each earn 10 points! Question 14C: Will Steve Lacy's Bad Habit reach the top 3 by the end of this year?"Bad Habit" finally reached Top 3 this week, and looks like it could go all the way to the top! All 14 predictors (100%) guessed he would go Top 3, and all will earn 10 points. Question 7C: Will rap songs (eligible for the Hot Rap Songs chart) spend more than 5 weeks combined at #1 during the 2022 summer season (6/25-9/17 chart; 13 weeks)? This one is from the start of the summer! While "Super Freaky Girl" and "Jimmy Cooks" have each spent a week on top, this summer belonged to pop music. There aren't enough weeks left for 5 weeks of rap songs. Congrats to annoymous1 atg Baby Yoda Hot100Fan @imhappy259 joshtheking khan Limited Edition livelightning phieaglesfan712 (75%, 9 of 12) for predicting this. Each earn 13 points! Looking ahead:- JID looks unlikely to debut any new songs on the Hot 100 (100% predicted he would have a chart debut)
- "Hold Me Closer" is tracking for a likely Top 10 debut (82% guessed it would debut outside of the Top 10)
- Beyonce's "Alien Superstar" is likely to achieve a 5th week on the chart, but is at risk of falling off after that (70% predicted another Bey song would get 10 weeks)
- "As It Was" continues to dominate the charts and has all but clinched Song of the Summer. (80% said it would NOT be SOTS)
Click here to see full selections & scoresjoshtheking continues to hold onto their strong lead at the top. Congrats to 85la for making a big jump into the top 3! This week's questions (Deadline Thursday, September 8)
Q1: John Legend John Legend's new album "Legend" is dropping next Friday. He has not had much luck with singles, as recent collabs with JID, Muni Long, and Saweetie have all failed to chart. In fact, since his commercial peak in the mid 2010s (most notably "All Of Me", which spent 3 weeks at #1 in 2014), he has not seen much chart success. While a Hot 100 debut may seem unlikely, it doesn't take much to secure a spot toward the bottom of the chart. Will John Legend debut a song on the Hot 100 next week? (9/24 chart)
Q2: As It WWWWWWWWWWWWas "As It Was" will lock in its 12th week at #1 on the 9/10 chart. According to predictors, it continues to hold a 10-15% point lead over the #2 song. The spring/summer smash continues to loom large over the music landscape into the fall, as it gradually declines on streaming and radio. While Taylor and Lil Baby have each announced albums in October, we still have another month+ without much apparent competition. So, how many weeks on top will Harry ultimately achieve? He has the chance to join some pretty elite company:
19 weeks | "Old Town Road" - Lil Nas X ft. Billie Ray Cyrus 16 weeks | "One Sweet Day" - Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men 16 weeks | "Despacito" - Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee ft. Justin Bieber 14 weeks | 7-way tie: "I Will Always Love You" / "I'll Make Love to You" / "Macarena" / "Candle in the Wind 1997" / "Something About the Way You Look Tonight" / "I Gotta Feeling" / "Uptown Funk" Pick One: How many weeks at #1 will "As It Was" ultimately achieve? (By 12/31 chart) A - 13 or fewer weeks B - 14-15 weeks C - 16-17 weeks D - 18+ weeks
Q3: Deja Vu Samples and interpolations have been growing more and more common, but this year has really seen an explosion of samples in mainstream pop. Every artist seems to be trying their hand at sampling big older songs. And for good reason, a number of these songs have seen success this year: "First Class", "Super Freaky Girl", "Big Energy", and "Cold Heart" have all spent time in the Top 10 this year. And right now, "Vegas", "Betty", and "Hold Me Closer" look like potential Top 10 hits. Will the trend continue, or are people burnt out on samples? Will a song which samples/interpolates a previous hit* spend at least 1 week in the Top 3 through the end of the year? (9/24 - 12/31 charts)* *The previous hit must have charted in the Top 40 on the Hot 100

Damn I wish I predicted no for JID now cause I was really close to doing so
1. No- I think he's hit his peak lol 2. A- This is tricky, I think it mostly depends on if/when Taylor drops a lead single 3. No

1. No. As you say he really hasn't had much chart success since All of Me in 2014, so a lot of his chances would depend on any big name collabs for this album, and glancing at the tracklist (and if the recent collabs you mention are the same ones as on the album, not sure about that as I haven't been following too closely), it seems most of them have already dropped, so he probably doesn't stand much of a chance.
2. A - 13 or fewer weeks. I really think Bad Habit, or possibly a new Taylor single or another big new release will take over soon.
3. Yes
Also, I'm kind of shocked (but glad) that I made that huge jump into the top 3 this week!! Was largely due to luck though!

1. No - All of Me was a fluke and I don’t expect him to have much chart success in the future. 2. 13 or less weeks - This is a tough one. It really depends on when/if Taylor will release a lead single before the album drops. 3. Yes - I can see a song with a sample in the top 3 by year’s end.
