72 hours...
also, my vinyl says it's "preparing to be shipped" whatever that means. it'll probably take 1-2 days to arrive when they ship it (assuming it ships from Southern California) so I imagine they won't ship mine before Wednesday.

I've been pretty lucky with website orders so far, sometimes even getting them delivered a day before release on Thursday ( Future Nostalgia vinyl). we'll see how Beyoncé's team handles it but I am doubtful it won't ship before Monday at the latest. |

"Love On Top" is and will probably always be #1 for me but I'm not mad at "Deja Vu" being #1—it's definitely up there for me, probably in my Top 5. so I guess I'd swap those two around but that's a very minor edit to the list all things considered.  |

"Déjà Vu" takes me baaaack! I have such fond memories of that song, I was in school and it was that song that got me hooked on Beyoncé. Up until that point I was a casual fan -at best- but DV changed everything. I still remember my first time listening to it... it was on the radio, I was in the car with my parents and brother back from the beach. It was instant love. The chorus, the bridge, Jay's verse, the production! What a TUNE! And it still holds up to this day. 😁
Also, I'm gagging @ the Grace Jones feature. I have always loved Grace's crazy ass and incidentally I'm currently reading her memoirs (I'm like only 50 pages in and it's awesome so far!). I wonder if it's just a vocal sample or something of that nature. We'll find out in a matter of hours!

Twitter continues to be plagued with swamp rats. I don't plan on listening to this until the physical arrives and I will be in Boston for my B'day weekend, but I will consume all of the thought pieces in my spare time til then! Also, I went to look at Twitter out of curiosity and it seems like all the clips are fake, LOL. A French retailer did, however, put the album on shelves early, but Yonka's team is already on that ass.
