Twitter/The Hive are losing their shit with this leak but c’mon y’all, in this day and age it’s pretty impressive it took 36 hrs before release to leak. Think about Dua Lipa or Harry Styles who had their albums leaked wayyyy earlier. It was bound to happen especially with the album hitting certain territories on Wednesday. Im not condoning leaks but it is an expectation in the music industry. Bey is probably happy it made it this far without doing so.

{Spoiler}According to someone who listened to the leak, the album sounds nothing like the Drake album, it is by far Bey's most experimental album to date. He did say there are a few too many non-singing/chanting type of tracks in there for his liking, but overall it serves a lot of 90s drag queen b!tch track/Berlin gay club mix vibes. |

"Break My Soul" is definitely the weak link here.

This album is not for me. I like CUFF IT, BREAK MY SOUL, VIRGOS GROOVE and SUMMER RENAISSANCE. They definitely picked the best song for the lead.

Great! I assume I will love it and it will be a critical success! Can't wait!! I got Pose 2, which is the most...unique, but 4 is def my favorite. No surprise, since 4 is B's number. Oh well. It's not like I will wear the shirt or look at the box after I open it.

I just don’t like her branding of whatever she’s been doing since Lemonade. If I want r&b music I will listen to Ella Mai, Jhene Aiko and Mariah Carey because modern pop is worse if anything.

My suggestion is to anyone that has not paid much attention to The Gift to revisit it, 'cause that album has A LOT of the same elements. RENAISSANCE is a bit more polished and less heavy-handed on the afrobeat elements, but they could easily be companion albums (Would even dare to call The gift a prelude to this one). Good to know! I think I rejected Beyonce's gift. At least, I don't remember listening to it all the way through. I was just listening to Dance For You. Are there any sultry sex jams like that or is at all gay club songs? |

I don't hear it tbh, I only hear a bit of The Gift in Energy and Heated. The whole 90s garage house/avant-pop sound is definitely new, and that's the dominant sound of the album. To me it's an entirely different album, there's something early M.I.A. about tracks like Move which I really love. |
