I like hip-hop Bey. I think people consistently undersell the dexterity and difficulty she displays when she's in that mode.
But no lie, I would like to hear her SANGING across an entire album again. Hardly anybody is serving vocals anymore, even people with the ability to do so (I'm looking at you Ariana).

I feel like people have a problem with us complaining about this because vocals "aren't everything" however I'm with you that hardly anybody displays them on albums anymore. You have some here and there but not like it used to be. I miss my vocalists. |

She's rumoured to have collabed with Rihanna/Doja Cat/Ariana Grande/Nicki Minaj for the album. I can see this album being more of a commercial orientated album if some of those are true (particularly Rihanna/Doja/Ariana). Maybe she's finally giving us an album tailor made to radio and massive hits. *_*

So she is now over 40, I wonder if this might affect her to get massive pop hits and the gap from her last big pop hits is too big as well - almost 10 years actually. I think her pop days are over and as she is not so great writing her own songs, she has to rely on hot producers or collaborations.

Box 4 is sold out. more than a month in advance. before seeing the cover or t-shirt design. 🤯
I got Box 1 but I was very tempted to buy Box 4 because she loves the number 4. many other fans had the same idea, it seems.
