why's this song STILL gaining so much?? This and First Class are the most overrated songs of the year IMO. It fits Top 40, HAC, AC, Rhythmic, Urban AC (and maybe a few Urban stations). It makes sense it can comfortably sail past 100 million. |

It would be if the tracking year was January-December. ADT is among the Top 3 songs of the year with As It Was and First Class. However, since the Billboard tracking year starts in mid-November, Heat Waves and Stay pretty much have the Top 2 on lock. |

It's actually a pretty uplifting track, I like it, and the use of the sample works pretty well!! Only thing is, and short songs usually don't bother me too much, but this is way too short. |

Because it is holding up so well on the charts, I checked out Bad Bunny's album and I get it now, it's a summer jam! Titi Me.Pregunto is a bop! I hope Me Porto Bonito can end its momentum as that’s the only bad song from the album to me. I wish Party and Ojitos Lindos can catch on sometime and even Moscow Mule again that song deserved better. Edit: Looks like Party and Moscow Mule are actually gaining on AM, along with Efecto so if all their momentums keep up that would be greatly appreciated 👍 |

After this year, I would be surprised if Bad Bunny wasn't the biggest artist of the year. He has the biggest album and the biggest tour of the year. He is also starting a new stadium tour in August.

Wow I remember when Flo Rida had hits after hits in the charts. It will be great to see him back again. His last charting song was "Cake" in 2017 (peak: 73), and his last hit was "My House" in 2015 (peak: 4). I thought when he released this song in 2018, this will be the start of his comeback (cause it's a bop), but gp says no |

As I said, the disconnect of 2022 reminds me a lot of 2002. In 2002, the YE #1 was a leftover from the previous year (How You Remind Me), but the biggest hit during the calendar year (by Billboard’s standards) was Foolish, but Complicated felt like the biggest hit in real life (despite never reaching #1 on the Hot 100 or finishing in the YE Top 10).
This year, Heat Waves is going to finish as the YE #1, but As It Was is going to be the biggest hit by Billboard’s standards, but About Damn Time feels like the biggest hit of the year in real life.

It reminds me of 2016 when the true biggest hit felt like it was One Dance or Closer. It’s funny how both the last time we had a disconnect and this one in 2022 within the top 2 has JB in it yet again..

ADT is already the biggest hit on sales for 2022. Once ADT surpasses First Class’s peak on radio, it will be the biggest hit in 2 of the 3 metrics this year. ADT has a very good case for biggest hit of 2022. Why are you going by peak on radio but overall sales? What about peak sales? What about overall radio? |

Once ADT surpasses First Class’s peak on radio, it will be the biggest hit in 2 of the 3 metrics this year. ADT has a very good case for biggest hit of 2022. The problem is that, for chartwatchers, there is a hierarchy of metrics: Most important: Streaming Pretty important but not as reflective of demand on its own: Radio Only relevant as a Plato's Cave of the other two when it's not just weaponized by stans: Sales so calling a song the biggest of the year when it's not doing that hot on the most important metric just seems off, especially when the least important metric is the one that keeps getting flaunted. |
