She won’t win so it’s all smoke & mirrors anyway. Either Luke or Morgan will will very easily be taking this. This is the first time Luke and Morgan have been up against each other in this category.. with roughly 7,000 votes to go around I imagine one or the other will win, too. I just wonder if some serious vote splitting occurs helping to level out the tallies? I also wonder if there might be hesitation on the part of voters to hand this to Morgan... I mean, he’s in the top 5 rendering that theory moot, but I do wonder if there’s enough remnant hesitation within the industry to deny him a win, at least this year. There’s also the fact that Miranda won the ACM EOTY and while it’s rare for someone to win both in the same year, there’s clearly clout enough within the industry to support Miranda winning as well. Ultimately, I think Luke or Morgan win, but I’m almost always wrong when predicting these things, so I’m half convinced anyone can pull off the win this year. We’ll see!

My dear Kyle, I love you too much to let you go down the “I think it could happen this year!” road. But, if you’re truly a believer, I applaud you. ;) I just don’t think split voting matters in the case of men in this genre. Especially when one is being touted as the second coming of Garth, and the other is on a Music Row-backed redemption arc in the face of the mainstream media/the libs.

I haven’t been emotionally vested in this since 2019. The show was amazing, but it was a dagger to my hopes of Carrie ever winning. However, since then she’s been a steady nominee and I honestly didn’t think she’d manage nominations after 2019… it felt like an all-in/final push kinda year. As long as she’s nominated, I’ll hold onto whatever hope is left… even if it hardly makes sense this year. Stranger things have definitely happened before…

After much consideration, especially after seeing all the highlights from opening night of the tour. I will officially be back on my CU for EOTY bullsh*t. No questions at this time. That's a legend and idc if this album hasn't performed like her others it's a crime she hasn't been given it yet.

I’m hoping we hear more about performances in the coming days. It’s crazy that the show is in a little over two weeks!! Final round voting ends Friday at 6:00 p.m. Central!

They better go all out for Loretta…
I want an opening like the 2019 show, except all Loretta songs, and I really would love for Carrie to be a part of it. I imagine the two female EOTY nominees would likely be involved… I’d think.. and I’d love for the segment to close or open with Carly’s song, it’s literally perfect! However it seems like that’ll be separate based on the list.
I’m looking forward to this show, it’s been a great year of quality music!

I disagree on Group, Single , and Female. I think Lainey should win Female, “Buy Dirt” gets Single, and Group should go to ZBB.

Everyone form a prayer circle and start asking God for Carrie to perform “Remember When” at this tribute.

It has to be.
Her cover at the Opry in 2011 stands as one of my all time favorite performances, she’d take the night with that song alone!

"Remember When" is a treacly mess of a song in its OG form, but I think with Carrie at the helm, I might actually tolerate the song.

It’s cool they’re singing for Jerry Lee Lewis and Ashley McBryde and the girls are singing “When Will I Be Loved” I know Jody Miller wasn’t as well known as Jerry Lee or Loretta, but if would’ve been cool is somebody sang one of her songs on the Awards or did a Keith Whitney song to honor him for being in HOF.

WIth Patty there, hopefully that means she joins Carly for Dear Miss Loretta as well. Good stuff.
Wonder what the Reba performance is, Loretta tribute or something else.

Ashley McBryde will sound good on that song but what’s the connection with those artists and that song?

I was hoping for a performance of "Brenda Put Your Bra On" from Ashley LOL. I don’t think the CMA awards would like that song. But I think it’d be cool to hear. IMO why does it always feel like McBryde has to sing with somebody to be on the country award shows? I wish she’d get a slot of her own in the future.
