{REMEMBER WHEN I RESPONDED TO REVEALS AS THEY HAPPENED?!?!}#60: There are times when Kiwanuka hits hard for me, but then there are times where it just doesn't get there, and that was the case here. I could see it improving on repeat listens, though. #59: Uhhhh, nah, run this back, this was definitely the better song of his. #58: Honestly, I expected this to be top 40 or higher. Thanks for proving me wrong. #57: Generally a nice song. Miss you, shazam. #56: Noted Active artist Ed Sheeran #55: Nice song, harmless, doubt I'll come back to it. #54: Featured on the same NOW compilation as "All the Right Places". NOW guessing what songs were "future hits" didn't work out incredibly often, did it? #53: "a 5-star album according to Rolling Stone!" Okay, even I know that's ridiculous. I'm not going to rank every Bruce song from this era this high, but "We Take Care of Our Own" has always stuck with me in a big way. I was hoping it would make the top half, but I'm not incredibly surprised it didn't. Now, if/when "Radio Nowhere" shows up, that better not be below the top half. #52: This band sure is here, eh? #51: Yeah, definitely the worst of the Snow Patrol songs here. They can do slower material well, but it has to be just right, and this wasn't. #50: This really felt like the female version of dad rock..."mom rock", if you will. #49: Almost sounds like a precursor to "S.O.B.", in a way, though it's not trying as hard to sound like a modern day "Rebel Rouser". #48: Eh, I've heard more boring songs involving a Death Cab member or two. #47: I was going to talk about the song a bit more, but now all I can think about is the ending of All Dogs Go to Heaven. #46: Decent song, but all I could think while I was listening to it was, "Can't I just switch this with the Thrice song?" #45: I am stunned that "I'm Shakin'" is higher. #44: Keane tend to walk the fine line between "really nice" and "nicely boring" successfully more often than not, but there are times where they fall into the latter category, and this was one of them. #43: Oh, this really should have been their third top 40... #42: "No Strings" felt more...authentic than this, to be honest. #41: I can't say I was expecting this to be close to making the top 40, but I also expected more of a tanking than it got. Not that I'm surprised to see the Coldplay order, but I'm still glad to see it. Out of my lowest remaining, I expected to see just about all of them in the top 40. It's only my lowest remaining that I'm a little surprised about, but it bodes well for them in the future with songs I do like more from them, anyway.

Oh cool, so the "Keep Your Head Up" guy is also the "Honey, I'm Good Guy". I will fight Andy Grammar

If I were to rank this during its actual year then Everybody Talks might've been my #1 lol, it was one of child me's favorite songs ever. It's still fun in the chorus, but it admittedly drags on to get there and gets pretty repetitive.
I knew it wouldn't do amazingly or anything but I figured The A Team would be a shoo-in for Ed Sheeran's best rock rankdown performance, it's like one of the most quality WGWAG songs.
I almost think I should have put This Isn't Everything You Are higher, it might be my favorite discovery from doing this list. It's just so sweet and genuine.
idk how North Side Gal and The Walk got this high, they actually made my eyes twitch because they were just soooo annoying to listen to. North Side Gal just sounded bad to me musically and that's like the most subjective thing ever I know, but how did The Walk's lyrics not make anyone else just hover their finger over the skip button?
Okay nvm Teardrop Windows might be the best discovery for me. I just love songs about weird-ass subjects like this, and it sounds pretty good to boot!
Even the Coldplay tax couldn't tank Paradise too harshly. Just a nice uplifting little soundscape, I can definitely see why it became one of their bigger hits this decade.
I know Drive By was in my bottom five, but I gotta admit 50 Ways to Say Goodbye would have been significantly higher for me. Pat Monahan still sounds bad, but the goofy mariachi horns and the way it doesn't take itself seriously at all makes it much much more bearable.

Even the Coldplay tax couldn't tank Paradise too harshly. Ideally, I'd like for the "Coldplay tax" to not kick in on their other song until the top 25, at the very least. I also fully expect it to miss the top 25.

#40: This was fine, but neither of the Grace songs here were better than "Stars". #39: A bottom three for this, damn. The guitar work just sends me every time I listen to this, and the rest of the song is pretty solid, too.
Hey, I am actually here (somewhat) on time! A little late, but it's still good, it's still good

I expected both of their songs to top the performance of "Don't Wanna Fight", to be honest, though this was always the more vulnerable one of the two.
I accepted years ago that Alabama Shakes aren't for everyone.

Not my favorite ID song, but among their most inoffensive, so it makes sense that it would do better than all of their other songs in these AAA RDs.
I was worried this was going to be much higher, so I'll take a tank brigade to slow it down.

REM mostly disappered from Alternative in the 2000s; Triple A picked up a lot of the slack with their promotion, so they'll get some exclusives as we go back. 36

One hell of a note for R.E.M. to go out on. Not one of their best, but a fitting finale.

Back when I was in high school, there was a Minecraft parody of It's Time that my younger brother used to watch without headphones on all the time. I was never into Minecraft, but I did hear that song a lot that song. Is that partially the reason I still can't stand this song to this day? ...No, not really, I just think the song's annoying. But whenever I hear It's Time, I do think about that decade old Minecraft parody lol

This is so up my alley from this period that I'm shocked that I didn't rank it even higher. Hell, it sounds like a perfect fit for one of my old pop rankdowns.

I had never heard of this song or artist, but it was a cool discovery. Weird how many AAA hits from the early 2010s I've never even heard of, even though I was actually following charts back then.

Even at their weakest, I've never really listened to a Wilco song and thought, "hey, this sucks", and this isn't one of their weakest.
