The only thing that’s going to hit the top 10 is the DJ Khaled/Drake/Lil Baby song and i bet its mostly going to be mostly AM driven so get ready for that. I hope the Best Friends remix by The Weeknd/Summer Walker also can get on the charts although it probably won’t stick around because the GP is allergic to anything from Dawn FM at this point. The Khaled/Drake/Lil Baby song is so awful that I'd be shocked if it debuts in the top 10. it is awful but its drake.. so top 10 easily.

I hope they are not going to debut in the top 10 😒

The Khaled/Drake/Lil Baby song is so awful that I'd be shocked if it debuts in the top 10. Never ever ever underestimate the Drake stans on AM lol. They're not feeling the song either. 7 hours since its release and it's still yet to crack the top 200 of US Apple Music. Rightfully so, the song is very mediocre.

Makes me wish Billboard could start a Global Chart for albums, it'd be a cool feat seeing a bunch of k-pop acts get recognized. They already have one, even if it's small and should have atleast 10x more entries. www.billboard.com/charts/world-albums/This is for the popularity of albums in America that are a part of the “world” genre

Yes this is the just a list of the top albums for international acts. Just like how the Global Songs charts tells us the biggest songs in the world with no radio airplay pushing them, we need one for the biggest albums in the world at a given week. We could see a bunch of Asian acts get success, not just Korean but Japanese as well. And it'd be the one album chart where Morgan Wallen isn't in the top 10!

This is weird though because the rules specifically state per ISRC (aka version). So maybe the ones on the web stores have a different ISRC to skirt around the rules (this was the case with the 'Alternative' cover versions of Butter), but the ISRC of the song on regular DSP stores are the same (which would make sense given the type of process). Sales outside of iTunes are usually literally nothing though anyway so... as far as I know, luminate themselves don't have personal information for filtering. they ask each platform to do filter and get filtered sales from them. so luminate can't know if 1 person bought the same upc single in 5 different platform. In any case, the limitations don't go far enough. If the BTS Army doesn’t do it this week, Nicki's stans are going to manufacture another Top 10 (and maybe even try for a #1) next week. The only way to stop the manipulation is to remove all sales from counting on the Hot 100 altogether.

Well, Drake sampling the Bee Gees is now a thing. The moment I saw the title I assumed it will go to that direction and it was right.

Doesn’t seem like there’s going to be much this week besides the Drake/DJ Khaled/Lil Baby collab and the BTS/Snoop Dogg collab. Oh, and a Youngboy Never Broke Again album bomb. I'm tired of these performers. There is only so much they can go and it feels like a stretch. Slow week I'd say, just waiting for the next big sound for the ears...back to playing the Radio hits in the meantime.

If I had a nickel for every time a Drake single used a deliberately goofy sample and did the most boring thing possible with it, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

Well, we can’t always have a Lord Knows or Nice For What sadly especially these days when Drake is known for being the most autopilot superstar with extremely boring music 90% of the time.

Makes me wish Billboard could start a Global Chart for albums, it'd be a cool feat seeing a bunch of k-pop acts get recognized. if I were to guess, the reason why they didn't start one when they started the Global 200 charts might be due to the variety of retailers and sales points for albums across the globe. to be able to measure album consumption, they would probably need to collaborate with national chart companies worldwide who might collect that data and even then, some territories would be completely missing. Billboard/Luminate probably can't really keep track of all record stores and supermarkets that sell albums etc.

I guess for it to be a hit, it has to be just Drake and Lil Baby and not anyone else that’s been proven twice already.

I think the problem may be that Drake is suffering from a bit of overexposure. Keep in mind, it hasn’t even been a year since CLB was released. While Drake was on Wait For U, which debuted at #1 in May and has remained one of the biggest hits of the year since then, the fact that his recent album and now this collaboration flopped may suggest that Drake could benefit from a break.

Girls Like Girls was caught between years, but yeah, if anyone could use a break to recharge and get some fresh ideas, Drake is ripe for that.

So its just that anything they put out together not named Wants and Needs or Yes Indeed fails. Technically it still peaked at #2 (despite it completely being driven with the rest of the album bomb) and almost made the year end list last year, some even had it at 101. I literally heard my local foot locker playing the song as we speak so the hit aspect of it kind of says otherwise lol. Girls Like Girls was caught between years, but yeah, if anyone could use a break to recharge and get some fresh ideas, Drake is ripe for that. Funnily enough, that’s what he did with H,N but he did it in the worst possible way which is why people are disregarding it completely.

The song just isn't that good "Drake over-exposure" was the phrase used right before VIEWS, right before he spent half of 2018 at #1, right before CLB sold 600k Good music will always prevail

Staying Alive #72 on AM after 7 hours, definitely not enough for a top 10 debut unless it grows Call me crazy and mean, but I'm anticipating a Drake flop, feature or no feature. I'm tired of him putting out mediocrity and it becoming a success because of his name. I still don't know what DJ Khaled does.
