Padam Padam is currently sitting at 40,924,804 streams on Spotify. In only two months (+ two days) since its release, it has passed everything she has put out since 2011!!!!! Dancing - 36,620,191 Magic - 34,371,983 Say Something - 33,745,923 A Second to Midnight - 30,026,855 At Christmas - 28,820,758 Real Groove Studio 2054 - 24,143,283 Santa Claus Is Coming to Town - 22,251,594 Stop Me From Falling (both versions) - 20,806,628 Into the Blue - 17,060,971 In fact, she's just about to pass All the Lovers!!! (41,200,850) and Get Outta My Way (45,808,334) I feel vindicated that Get Outta My Way has outstreamed All The Lovers. #HitThatGotAway

Glad that Kylie finally confirmed this. The general sale begins on August 9, while the travel packages two days earlier. The residency kicks on November 4.

I’m not missing this for the world. I HAVE to see Kylie. I wish it was more Disco/Tension heavy but any Kylie will be fabulous.

Y'all, I put up such a fight, but I could not get tickets. Multiple browsers, phones, TM, the official website. I can't get through for anything. I'm throwing my hands up and hope they have this mess figured out when she announces another round of dates.
*edit* I figured I'd try again. Wait time in line was 2224 hours and 30 minutes. I think it's a wrap 😂

^ I was about to post that same thought as well. I'm seeing all over the net the same issues with getting tickets. The demand definitely seems to have caught them by surprise.
I'd never be able to go myself, but I do hope everyone wishing to go can eventually see her, whether it be at this venue or another.

I'm sure they would want to see Kylie. Even US people would be curious if they are in Vegas, then there's all the gays that are excited to see her show. I'm pretty sure she'll end up doing a much bigger show later on. They could move her show to the Venetian Sphere! Now that would be something special! The Venetian should at least advertise the show on the sphere:

The title track is soooo good. It should be the next single. Oooh oooh touch me right there! Break the tension!

I like “Tension,” the title track, I actually really really like it (I like it more than I liked “Padam Padam” on first listen, even though I love that one now) and find it quite catchy but, and I’m not sure if anyone else will get what I’m saying, it sounds like three songs pieced together or something.

À la "Biology" by Girls Aloud.

With the album release about a month away, anyone heard anything about a second single?
Love Padam, but I’ve played it out.

Makes no sense for her to be in the US a few nights every month just for the residency. She must be joining a tv show or something. Idol? The Voice? Baking show? I’m sure she has another commitment between the Vegas shows.

I’m sure she has another commitment between the Vegas shows. I don’t think she’s a big enough US name for idol or the voice. She hasn’t had a hit here in 20 years and only really has like 3 hits here. I know she’s massive worldwide but outside of the gay scene she’s basically a one hit wonder to most here

This is the 5 stars (out of 5) review of the album in Classic Pop magazine:
Usually, we know what kind of Kylie album to expect: Golden was the country record, Disco her return to the dancefloor... But word that album 16 would be Kylie’s electro record was soon replaced by her hinting that we’d get every one of her iterations, as she told Rolling Stone in May: “I want to celebrate each song’s individuality and dive into that freedom.”
Sure enough, it’s hard to predict from moment to moment where Tension will go next. Not only is there no overriding musical theme to the album, each song is liable to switch genre when you least expect. With lesser singers and duller producers, that would result in an unholy mess. But Tension is built on confidence. Rather than hire a battalion of producers, the team here is small, with regular collaborators Biff Stannard and Duck Blackwell overseeing most of the 11 songs.
Kylie herself is at her imperious best. Minogue’s voice remains underrated, but no matter: within seconds, you know if a song is by Kylie, far more distinctively than by vocalists indulging in gymnastics. It means not just that nobody else could have made Padam Padam with so much joy but that Things We Do For Love can handle changing from its power ballad first third – big dumb guitar lick and all – into a Bangles melodrama, via a gated drum riff.
The only real electro moment is on the title track’s “Touch me right there” robo-vocal breakdown, the closest Kylie has come to aping Madonna. Padam X, anyone? But even that floorfiller only breaks out the vocoders after Minogue bounces over addictive house keyboards.
You Still Get Me High is Flashdance in shinier legwarmers, the Cutfather-produced Hands finds Kylie correctly deciding she can master organic R&B, and Green Light is the whole of 1984’s pop blended into the tastiest smoothie, its sax solo managing to be even more stupidly hilarious than the rest of the song.
And that’s the most crucial aspect of all to Tension: it’s just so much fun, as Kylie throws in a delighted whoop on the funk/pop hybrid One More Time and an ecstatic “Yeah!” into You Still Get Me High simply because she’s plainly having a laugh making pop on instinct.
In Green Light, Kylie sings: “Spin me round in circles, I can do it forever” about her ability to command a dancefloor. Too right. Like Harry Styles’ Harry’s House, Tension is an object lesson in truly memorable pop only needing a small team. It’s up there with Light Years and Body Language in the realms of great Kylie albums. You’ll definitely wanna take it home. John Earls

I'm so excited for this!!!!!
From the first notes of "Padam Padam" I heard back in May, I felt something electric was coming in a way I haven't felt since the Fever/Body Language days.

Padam Padam is literally a perfect song, so I am happy for her. Also, my first ever Kylie album arrives tomorrow (a day earlier than originally scheduled by Amazon), so I am pumped!
