Not that it's an issue because the song deserves all its success and more, but I've noticed often when the song is announced on the radio, they will announce Selena's name first (Selena Gomez & Rema), which I'm guessing is part of the marketing strategy for this. I'm fascinated by the fact that there's a non-monitored CHR station by me that credits this song only to Selena, both in their playlist or verbally when the DJ announces the artist name (the few times I've heard it, they've just said "it's the latest from Selena Gomez" or something similar). They don't credit Rema at all despite it being his own song. Poor Rema lol. :(

Yea that’s absolute trash bc Rema is the BUSINESS. This song is an absolute banger with or without Selena, though Selena gives it the pop appeal. This feels as big, if not bigger, than ‘Last Last’ among my crowd last summer. As a Haitian American, I couldn’t be happier with Afro beats, Carribean, island flavors and artists crossing over. Hope it continues.

It's actually sad to see them credit Selena Gomez alone when the song originally belongs to Rema. Yeah, I know it's a collaboration and Selena Gomez introduced it to a wider audience; but Rema should always be the first name to be mentioned before and after the song is played.
Anyway, I'm glad the song is doing well and I hope it hits the top spot soon enough (and end the reign of Flowers lol..). I'm also hoping for a top 3 peak on the Hot 100 (if it's possible).

Totally agreed with both you and Dwindeezy. As much as I love the song and want it to be successful, I'm also not a big fan of them trying to say Selena is the main artist while subjugating Rema to a feature (or no credit at all). It's nice that Selena's name has been able to gain the song some more recognition, but I also don't think it should overshadow the fact that it's Rema's song and Selena is just coming on a remix of it. It would be like saying "Save Your Tears" is by Ariana Grande and not crediting The Weeknd. I'm guessing the station I'm talking about it just sees it as acceptable because Rema was a previously unknown artist without any hits in the US, and they're hoping more people will give the song a chance if they credit it solely to Selena.

Anyway, on a more positive note, I'm also hopeful it will make #1 on the pop charts next week. A top 3 peak on the Hot 100 would also be great!
