Looking at Taylor’s first week sales, and comparing back at this insane year, I cant believe Evermore only moved 329k first week.
For fun, here is her list of first week sales:
10/24/06 TAYLOR SWIFT - 40,000 11/11/08 FEARLESS - 593,000 10/25/10 SPEAK NOW - 1,047,000 10/22/12 RED - 1,209,000 10/27/14 1989 - 1,287,000 11/10/17 REPUTATION - 1,239,000 08/23/19 LOVER - 867,000 07/24/20 FOLKLORE - 846,000 12/11/20 EVERMORE - 329,000 04/09/21 FEARLESS (TAYLOR'S VERSION) - 291,000 11/12/21 RED (TAYLOR'S VERSION) - 605,000 10/21/22 MIDNIGHTS - 1,578,000 07/07/23 SPEAK NOW (TAYLOR'S VERSION) - 716,000 10/27/23 1989 (TAYLOR'S VERSION) - ?

Lover at 38 weeks so far. If Cruel Summer can continue to dominate who knows how far Lover can carry. HDD is predicting #9 this week. Honestly even 40 weeks would be a massive win already I think a few weeks after the Eras Tour Concert can be accepted as well.

(courtesy HDD) “Only 329k” sounds so funny since most big artists can’t even move 200k units anymore 😂 Drake is doing 420k and evermore didn’t get pre-orders or even physical copies until months later IIRC.

Evermore also had no physicals available the first week.
Her alleged Grammy submissions:

I'm surprised she didn't submit anything from SNTV, but I guess she wants the focus to be on Midnights.

supposedly she cut several songs from the tour film. for some reason.
the only one that's bewildering is a #1 hit that's the only full-fledged single from an AOTY winner. it's trending on twitter rn.

Assuming this means cardigan is cut? If so, what a wild and ridiculous decision. It’s one of her all-time best songs. To me, it would be the equivalent of cutting All Too Well, Cruel Summer, or Delicate. I know how essential Anti-Hero is and it’s definitely up there on that all time list, but if we are cutting performances, that’s one’s pretty useless, unlike cardigan.

I personally would have cut TLGAD or betty over cardigan, and Bad Blood over Wildest Dreams, but whatever.
I'm sure when it hits streaming they will be included, hopefully with the other surprise songs recorded.

I’m preparing myself for her to have the #1 album, #1 single and #1 movie int the States which is insane. You know she’s going to release a banger to promote 1989. I’m perched.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we get an extended cut with all of the cut songs back in the film in time for the holidays or something.
Looking at the sheer amount of showtimes available (at least in my area), I kind of feel like there’s almost TOO many and there will be a lot of half empty showings unless exhibitors are expecting a lot of walk-up business.

Movies aren't like concerts though. They don't need to be sold out or anything to be profitable/successful. Heck, most movies I go to (even ones that have good numbers) are NEVER completely full unless I go to a big blockbuster on opening day/weekend.

Taylor and Beyoncé reunite at the premiere. HER HAIR. HER AND BEYONCÉ TOGETHER. THIS WHOLE INSANE MOMENT AND YEAR. REST IN PEACE ME RIP ME I HAVE DIED DEAD. so incredibly excited for the movie tomorrow as it’s likely the only way I’m going to be experiencing this tour, but I am wildly disappointed over the fact that she’s cut the songs that she did. I was so looking forward to those moments in the film.

My daughter and I have been making friendship bracelets for the past several days and she has her "Midnights" outfit all ready to go. Making the most of it in case we can't make a show work out next year!

I'm not too disappointed at the songs being cut from the movie, and honestly if any of her #1s were to be cut, Cardigan would be one of them. An over 3 hour concert movie is simply too long for the theater (even the 2 hr 48 min edit still seems too long for me).

"cardigan" being cut is a bizarre choice. Not only was it the only single and most popular track from folklore, it also has been streaming extremely well over the last several months and has clearly gone on to be a huge classic in her discography. Literally any other song being cut from the folklore set makes more sense, and in fact I'd venture to say only "Cruel Summer" and "Anti-Hero" makes less sense to cut, and I'm baffled as to why it was. The only thing that makes sense is if there was to be an "extended" version coming later to streaming or even rereleased in theaters with "cardigan" being the main draw.

Could another reason for cutting some songs be to leave some element of surprise for the fans who are yet to watch the tour live?

The Eras Tour film still sits at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with now 20 reviews and has 100% audience score as well now to match. lol

I could see an extended edition for the reason they are coming to one of the streaming services. Gives more people a chance to watch Taylor's eras tour movie again just for the missing songs. I remember the Speak Now World Tour DVD back in 2011 had two editions and one of them had bonus performances so this could happen here with this concert.

"Cardigan" and "Wildest Dreams" are bizarre choices for cuts. I'm sure an extended version will drop eventually.

Deadline’s revised BO projections: $92MM - $105MM. Just shy of Friday October record, but could pass it in finals.
