Love the video. She played Maroon and Getaway Car tonight, like she is peaking so hard right now. Hope there is a chance of no 1 on the Hot 100 next week.

It was magical seeing the world premiere at the concert tonight. The crowd went nuts when it premiered and then went Ice Spice came out. |

What's with the sudden release frenzy? Is this a comfortable week to try and snatch the #1 album position?
With all the versions and special releases, even I, as a fan, can't defend her when it comes to all those tricks and gimmicks.
I'd love to see her #1 again, but by the success of her songs etc., not due to releasing multiple versions of the same album (aside for initial release week, etc.).

Not super comfortable since Durk has an new album and Morgan Wallen is doing +120K every week but Taylor should take it. I think she just wanted to give Midnights one last push before switching to promoting Speak Now in July so she timed this mini deluxe for her true hometown shows in nyc. |

The gimmick talk is always hilarious to me. Like, she’s putting in the work recording these new versions, filming videos, giving content to her fans that are clearly willing to pay for it. That’s not a gimmick, that’s feeding the hungry.
The video is awesome. YLM is awesome-er. Maroon finally being performed is awesome-ist. New York WON.
Also, this is clearly not the video she shot recently based on set photos we got. Maybe that was for Midnights single #4? Or for Speak Now? Seemed like more of a Midnights vibe to me.

I think the video she filmed months ago was for Speak Now tbh because it had some Speak Now era memorabilia.

f**k I WISH I COULD HAVE GONE TO THAT JERSEY SHOW OMG.
Karma's video really pushed the song to Top 5 on the album, maybe even Top 3, which is wild, since it was at the bottom when I first got Midnights. Also, I will EASILY AND GLADLY spend the 6 bucks for those three songs. I don't really need the whole damn album again, but whatever. I'm pretty sure she has reached her limit with me, though. I have the vinyl, Target CD, and now this. If she drops some mega vinyl with all the songs, I can skip, LOL.
Also, don't @ me but I am now only reading Midnights as a story detailing the beginning of her relationship with Joe, resolving lingering, unresolved feelings, breaking up with him and then finding love again with Matty. She is so diabolical, I love it.

I’ve been wrong countless times with this woman, but I definitely think the one there were photos of her filming was for “Speak Now” and the clock striking midnight on the Karma video at the very end was her “closing” the era (aka this was the last single).

Lots of artists recently have released deluxe versions of their albums. Taylor is just giving one last push before she moves on to Speak Now TV in July. There was speculation the last few months about an Ice Spice and Taylor Swift collaboration for some time. |

Midnights will likely go diamond at some point in the next few years given how much they've been pushing it/how well it's still doing on streaming. It'll become her 3rd diamond album (1989 will likely reach diamond at some point soon, although if she releases the Taylor Version it may cause it to decrease quite a bit in stream sales - maybe she's waiting for it to go diamond before releasing the Taylor version?).
