Yes. It is what you think it is.
Digitally delivered -Original (3:29) -Extended (4:26)
It's actually pretty decent.

If the Club Play chart finally begins again, maybe LeAnn could score another #1.

Within my own peer group which consists of some DJs, producers, and music snobs, they are beyond outraged and pissed that she attempted to cover this song. They feel that she got chased out of the Pop and Country music worlds and wants to profit off of the gay dollar. Let's not forget that there have been remixes issued for the majority of her singles for nearly 2 decades now so it's not like this is something that happened all of a sudden. It's absurd. If you don't like it, you don't like it.

I listened to this one and I have to say, Leann sounds really good on it. The original was haunting in its own way but Leann’s performance has something haunting of its own in it and I can’t put my finger on how. The worst part of the song is some of the production choices, in both the music and the abrupt ending. But overall it is oddly interesting!

If you don't like it, you don't like it. How odd. Doesn't she have 3 No. 1s on this chart? The US remix album was released in 2014; the International remix album back in 2004. It's sad that when people ignore facts to create a negative narrative. I also don't get what's 'special' about 'Uninvited' that makes it some third-rail for a cover. It was an airplay hit from a 25-year old soundtrack that's been long forgotten. Leann still has her pipes so it's not like she's an ineffective or weak interpreter. As Rose noted, Aude's production is the bigger issue for me - some of those 'noises' really could be tamped down.

I love previous cover she did of this with just the piano... I wish she had that version out as well

I think she came way closer with her interpretation of it than Bailey Tzuke did on the Freemasons ones. There was that Deja Vu/Tasmin remake years ago and I was not a fan of the vocal direction of that. The production is definitely lacking something. I love previous cover she did of this with just the piano... I wish she had that version out as well That was really gorgeous! I would love a piano/unplugged version.
