If this means I can give my list a second pass I'll gladly take it. I was partway through the preference revealer yesterday but my computer did updates overnight and I lost all my progress so I had to rush this morning to get a list together before deadline. Ya that totally means that if you want to do that.

Alright y'all, we have about 36 hours until the final closing point on this rankdown. This will probably be the last time I'll get to be in front of my computer until that time so consider this your last reminder.

I was able to get to my computer once again, this time with about 12 hours until I officially close, but you have about 18 hours until I start preparing reveals which will be the hard cutoff. Don't push it though. Thank you to Beyoncelover for getting a list in.

3. What songs will we agree on the most? (low SDs)
4. What songs will we disagree on the most? (high SDs)

Time for the Multiple Song Artists Lightning Round: Adele - "Rolling In The Deep", "Rumour Has It", or "Someone Like You" Amos Lee - "Flower" or "Windows Are Rolled Down" Bob Schneider - "Honeypot" or "Let The Light In" Brett Dennen - "Comeback Kid" or "Sydney (I'll Come Running)" Death Cab For Cutie - "Stay Young, Go Dancing" or "You Are A Tourist" Fitz And The Tantrums - "Don't Gotta Work It Out" or "Moneygrabber" Florence + The Machine - "Dog Days Are Over", "What The Water Gave Me" or "You've Got The Love" Kings Of Leon - "Back Down South", "Pyro" or "Radioactive" Michael Franti & Spearhead - "Hey Hey Hey" or "I'll Be Waiting" Mumford & Sons - "Roll Away Your Stone" or "The Cave" Portugal. The Man - "Got It All (This Can't Be Living Now" or "People Say" R.E.M. - "Mine Smell Like Honey" or "Uberlin" Ray Lamontagne & The Pariah Dogs - "For The Summer" or "Repo Man" Scars On 45 - "Give Me Something" or "Heart On Fire" Sheryl Crow - "Long Road Home" or "Sign Your Name" The Decemberists - "Calamity Song", "Down By The Water" or "This Is Why We Fight"
6. What was your highest first listen?

I didn't have the time to make a list but I skimmed through it a while ago, hopefully "dead american writers" does well because that was a really good discovery for me

1. What's our top 10 going to look like? -- "Rolling in the Deep" is about as much of a lock as we have ever had for one of these to make the top ten. I'm not sure if it wins, because I think there will be a bit of a tank brigade for it, but it has to be a favorite to win. If "Set Fire to the Rain" can make the top ten in 2012, "Rumour Has It" and "Someone Like You" probably have chances, though I think SLY is getting tanked harder than the other two. I could see Florence tripling up, too. At the very least, she'll have two again. In fact, I think there's just enough of a pushback against RITD for Florence to get revenge on 2012 and win here. I'll say that "Dog Days" is the winner. "You Are a Tourist" is probably going to be there. I'll go slightly bold and say that The Cars make the top ten, because, even in a rankdown full of varied participants, I'd be surprised if it had a lot of low rankings. "Under Cover of Darkness" feels like a safe bet. Maybe one of the Decemberists songs? Maybe two? I really hope it isn't in the top ten, but I feel like I have to at least mention "Howlin' for You" as a contender, given how well The Black Keys did last time. 2. What shape is our bottom 10 going to take -- "Marry Me" will be there. Michael Franti will probably double up. I hope that we see Brett Dennen at least once in the bottom ten. 3. What songs will we agree on the most? (low SDs) -- Most of the most likely low SDs are probably going to be low in the RD. Something like "Brand New Day" feels like a safe bet, in that regard. 4. What songs will we disagree on the most? (high SDs) -- I was 50/50 on whether or not I considered "Lotus Flower" a top ten contender, but opted against it because it's among Radiohead's most divisive songs, and I expect it to have a high SD here. "Someone Like You" feels like a mortal lock. Sadly, I think there's just a stink against Fitz and the Tantrums, so "Moneygrabber" will probably have a high SD, for some reason. At least one or two more of the pop crossovers, particularly "Animal". One that'll probably surprise a few: "Brighter Than the Sun". I know there's a couple people who hate that song. 5. Time for the Multiple Song Artists Lightning Round: Adele - "Rolling In The Deep", "Rumour Has It", or "Someone Like You" (lol) Amos Lee - "Flower" or "Windows Are Rolled Down" (though I doubt either will be all that high) Bob Schneider - "Honeypot" or "Let The Light In" (see Amos Lee) Brett Dennen - "Comeback Kid" or "Sydney (I'll Come Running)" Death Cab For Cutie - "Stay Young, Go Dancing" or "You Are A Tourist"Fitz And The Tantrums - "Don't Gotta Work It Out" or "Moneygrabber"Florence + The Machine - "Dog Days Are Over", "What The Water Gave Me" or "You've Got The Love" (crossover success wins out, though it wouldn't shock me if "Water" was higher) Kings Of Leon - "Back Down South", "Pyro" or "Radioactive" (either "Radioactive" or "Pyro" will be highest, I'm not sure which one, though I'll go safe) Michael Franti & Spearhead - "Hey Hey Hey" or "I'll Be Waiting" (neither will be high, but "I'll Be Waiting" is at least somewhat interesting) Mumford & Sons - "Roll Away Your Stone" or "The Cave" (could actually see this going either way, because I know there will be people tanking "The Cave") Portugal. The Man - "Got It All (This Can't Be Living Now" or "People Say" (another one that could go either way) R.E.M. - "Mine Smell Like Honey" or "Uberlin"Ray Lamontagne & The Pariah Dogs - "For The Summer" or "Repo Man"Scars On 45 - "Give Me Something" or "Heart On Fire" (though I could see either being higher) Sheryl Crow - "Long Road Home" or "Sign Your Name"The Decemberists - "Calamity Song", "Down By The Water" or "This Is Why We Fight"6. What was your highest first listen? -- #15. 7. Where will you lose your first top 10, and which rank will it be? -- Some of you already know what my #1 is. I'd be happy with top 40. 8. Where will you clear your bottom 10, and which rank will it be? -- I don't really expect my bottom ten to last a while. Let's say my #97, and it might escape the bottom 20, but not much higher. Now, just outside of my bottom ten, yeah, I might be waiting a while on some of those.

1. What's our top 10 going to look like?
Hopefully like mine. I should have at least 4 of them in my own top 10. At least one Florence, RHCP's, Kings of Leon, Strokes, Cars, Death Cab For Cutie,Decemberists(only two tho, I don't wanna see that third one anywhere near the top 50.) You guys will probaly put Adele instead of Grace Potter(sigh) 2. What shape is out bottom 10 going to takeI really hope like mine. I should nail at least six of them. As far as the ones you all will tank. I'll probably have 3 of those in my 60's. Brett Dennon and Michael Frante and sappy wedding songs sung by a great vocalist will fall on day one. 3. What songs will we agree on the most? (low SDs)I agree on Florence, but probably not the one you all agreed on on. Kings of Leon and Deathcab For Cutie in the top 10's sounds right. The Black Keyes I agree that the one member who isn't big on marriage will rank that Train song the highest. 4. What songs will we disagree on the most? (high SDs)
That Radiohead song is a head scrather. Pop crossovers(I will contribute to this as well), "wilderness" type folk wonderjams. maybe a few First time listnes that I liked? 5. Time for the Multiple Song Artists Lightning Round:I might not agree with these choices myslef, but rather what gives you all music hard-ons.Adele - "Rolling In The Deep", "Rumour Has It", or "Someone Like You" Amos Lee - "Flower" or "Windows Are Rolled Down"Bob Schneider - "Honeypot" or "Let The Light In"Brett Dennen - "Comeback Kid" or "Sydney (I'll Come Running)"Death Cab For Cutie - "Stay Young, Go Dancing" or "You Are A Tourist"Fitz And The Tantrums - "Don't Gotta Work It Out" or "Moneygrabber"Florence + The Machine - "Dog Days Are Over", "What The Water Gave Me" or "You've Got The Love" Kings Of Leon - "Back Down South", "Pyro" or "Radioactive"Michael Franti & Spearhead - "Hey Hey Hey" or "I'll Be Waiting" Mumford & Sons - "Roll Away Your Stone" or "The Cave"Portugal. The Man - "Got It All (This Can't Be Living Now" or "People Say"R.E.M. - "Mine Smell Like Honey" or "Uberlin" Ray Lamontagne & The Pariah Dogs - "For The Summer" or "Repo Man"Scars On 45 - "Give Me Something" or "Heart On Fire" Sheryl Crow - "Long Road Home" or "Sign Your Name"The Decemberists - "Calamity Song", "Down By The Water" or "This Is Why We Fight"6. What was your highest first listen?#16 but #8 was my favorite rediscovery (hope some of us total music opposites agree on this one) 7. Where will you lose your first top 10, and which rank will it be?Might lose my #10 before the top 50. Those who hate catchy sing along songs might handicap me around the 40's 8. Where will you clear your bottom 10, and which rank will it be?There is nothing in my tank that someone would take a bullet for, so I hope the last one falls in the 70's. #79 would make me happy. Let the slaughter commence.

I thought this was some random Christian reggae song that charted on AAA. Little did I know it's a supergroup featuring Mick Jagger, Damian Marley, David Stewart, Joss Stone, and A.R. Rahman.
This was really bad.

If we were to put together a list of the worst "supergroups" ever put together, I'm not sure if SuperHeavy would be the worst, but this was just such a poorly conceived mess.

Pat Monahan should officially be given the moniker "The Escape Artist", because how on earth have Train continued to avoid last place?
At least it's more tolerable than "Drive By", I guess?
