Edit-well that was quick, I guess having already ranked the majority of these songs in the Top 20 Rankings thread helped a lot.

After going through this list, I think this summer is quite overhated.

Ballot Update

With 14 lists in already, I figured it would be a good time to make a ballot update! Here are the senders so far: SabrinaFan , Leo ✔ , Mayman , nykanyon , nathanalbright , jasper0102 , Fire , Abbaschand , ‏Kyle , dremolus - solarpunk , brmiddleton4 , recordyear , pancakes


- 7 songs have #1 rankings, with 2 of those songs having multiple #1s. There are also 7 songs with #20 ranks, but only 1 of those has multiple #20s. 3 songs have both #1 and #20 rankings.
- The song currently at #1 has a 29 point lead over #2! This is the second biggest gap between positions though, with the largest gap being between #19 and #20 (with 41 points!).
- 2 songs have spent time at #1 so far: one of those songs is currently #11.
- 5 songs have spent every movement in the top 10 so far. Things have been pretty stagnant in the bottom 5, with 4 of the bottom 5 having spent every movement within that region.
- The top 2 highest SDs belong to #7 and #9. The lowest 2 SDs belong to #20 and #3.

Ranking this made me realize how incredibly weak this summer was music-wise. Out of the 20 songs I’d say only my top 6 or 7 really struck a chord with me.

Actually, this list was way better than I thought or expected. My 14 could possibly be top 3 on this, but I don't even hate it and could definitely be top half for me on 2022 Billboard.

I don't know if I've ever really cared for Kane Brown's music. This is probably one of his more entertaining songs, but it's really just carried by the instrumental imo.

And sent in my list. That was fun to go through. Although I do agree with some people that this was a weaker songs of the summer list than some past years. But there's still a good amount of songs I love, but also a good amount I didn't care for.
