Did Swift even have a top 20 country hit over the past year? "I Bet You Think About Me" went to #23 on country airplay (#22 Hot 100). Red (Taylor's Version) is also classified as a country album. A number of songs charted on the Hot Country Songs chart: #1. "All Too Well (10 minute version)" #3. "I Bet You Think about me" #5. "Red (Taylor's Version)" #11. "Nothing New" #13. "Better Man (Taylor's Version)" #15. "Treacherous (Taylor's Version)" #16. "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (Taylor's Version)" #21. "Babe (Taylor's Version)" #24. "Holy Ground (Taylor's Version)" #25. "Begin Again (Taylor's Version)" #42. "Ronan (Taylor's Version)

Also crazy to think Elton John won another AMA. He was present at the first ever show back in 1974 and he's still being nominated/winning almost 50 years later. :o

It’s admirable how dedicated you are in your vendetta against Taylor but it is getting tiring tbh

It’s admirable how dedicated you are in your vendetta against Taylor but it is getting tiring tbh What did I say that was incorrect? More so, are you telling me that when country music fans think back on the past year Taylor Swift is someone that comes to mind as someone who had any real relevance within country music?

It’s the AMAs. Beyond that, the fact that any discussion that somehow includes Taylor Swift happens anywhere on here, I fully expect you to come in with something that tries to undermine or question her in some way and you never disappoint. But you’ve been working so hard. Please rest up.

Kate Bush was really nominated for Rock Song eh? Did it get support from rock formats this past year, or just Top 40 and adult?

"I Bet You Think About Me" did spend 20 weeks on the Country Airplay chart. And NARAS nominated it for Best Country Song. Clearly, though, her overall popularity and fan support helped her win the country categories.

Yola performing on here is completely random but we need more of her on these. What a pleasant surprise!

How does one have perfect pitch yet always sound flat AF? It's bewildering to say the least.

Dan & Shay looked hurt-me-bad sexy tonight at the AMAs.
Machine Gun Kelly too. I don't think he had any underwear on tonight.
And Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons looked like a sex bomb

Award shows have just died over the last 5 years, where are the A listers? Taylor is the only one that ever rocks up. I guess Cardi popped her head in too. Celebs just don't care for these shows anymore, its sad to see.

Yeah, Grammys are the only ones that people care about. Is it good or not, I don't know... But the way AMAs didn't nominate Gaga for Favorite Electronic / Dance last year and this year when she has the best selling dance album shows that they are just cherry picking their noms based on 1 or 2 hit singles.

As soon as I saw this was next day streaming on HULU, I just decided to watch it at a later date. Is that normal? I can't recall other award shows being on streaming services next day which is one of the main reason I always watch them live.
