^ does that mean biebers chart streak is over? Assuming Ghost is also gone as expected, this will be Bieber's first week with no chart entries on the Hot 100 since September 26, 2020.

When Steve dropped Bad Habit, I remember making a ' joke' about it - because some poster hated Bad Habits and its chart run ( pulsemusic.proboards.com/post/8212384/thread ). Didn't know him or his music, and out of curiosity (just because of the title) I heard the song and I was like this is bad, it'll never be a hit. AND here we are, 3 months later, it hit #1 and I couldn't be happier, totally deserved.

With Ghost and Stay gone, we are almost rid of the 2021 debuts right? Heat Waves and Big Energy is all that's left I believe

So happy that Bad Habit hit the #1, there were genuinely some moments where I thought it might get stranded at #2

How many weeks is it for Heat Waves now? It is lock to beat Blinding Lights' longevity record, right?

I wasn't saying that. I was just saying that One More Night felt a lot bigger to me, and that talked about doesn't always mean bigger. I mean Trollz was way more talked about than Circles. Doesn't mean it was bigger. Okay but how something feels “to you” also isn’t indicative as to how big it is overall. You do know that right? In terms of Gangnam Style, it was #2 with what Billboard counted at the time, which didn’t include YouTube. GS was known for how huge it was on YouTube. Shortly after this, Billboard included YouTube into its tabulation. Therefore, GS was factually the biggest song at that point in time that didn’t get the #1 based on a technically. “One More Night” was also a big hit, but “Gangnam Style” was bigger. I am of the general consensus that GS probably should've been #1 and the counting of YouTube probably should've been implemented earlier, but we have to stop short of saying GS "was factually bigger," as of course measuring music popularity, especially with a multivariate chart like the 100 with the weighing of the different metrics to consider, is subjective. For whatever reason, Billboard didn't feel YouTube was an important enough component yet to add to its chart at that time (might of been business reasons, but I also think part of the dialogue back then was because they didn't yet consider the visual component of songs and dance meme-ery to be defining elements that should be worth counting). I actually don't like either song btw, but I think people keep coming back to this more out of hate for Maroon 5 than love for Gangnam Style and thinking that was actually a timeless classic. Has anyone actually done a points breakdown of what GS's run would've looked like week-to-week and how many weeks it actually would've been #1 if YouTube had counted? Over the years all I've seen is talk talk about how it was robbed, but no one has actually confirmed it systematically and laid out the points...

Thanks, Blinding Lights didn't held that record that much longer and with how some stay forever on the chart maybe in 1-2 years Heat Waves' record will be broken too

(In actuality, there's a good chance One More Night's US video streams would've been under 1 million, while Gangnam was likely in the 5m, 10m, or even higher range)

Doubt there'll be top 40 debuts and at least 3-4 (maybe even 5) songs will fall below DFY. DFY is stable on streaming and gaining on radio

^ does that mean biebers chart streak is over? Assuming Ghost is also gone as expected, this will be Bieber's first week with no chart entries on the Hot 100 since September 26, 2020. Also, don't forget he already had a 150 week Hot 100 streak a few before that started with Where are U Now and ended with Despacito. I know that Drake and Chris Brown also had two streaks of over 100 weeks in the Hot 100. Anyone aware of any other artists that have managed that?

Did BB make a mistake reporting AIW's airplay?
It says 62.8 million (which is way lower than expected) and down 1%, but last week it pulled 66 million.

It appears to be a recalibration downward that hit the pop formats the hardest. Bad Habit’s gain puts its last week number at 37.3m, when it was reported at 37.8m.

I thought that after reading Gary's post, but its 91st week would be January 6, 2024, right after Christmas, so if it doesn't go recurrent before that, the Christmas bomb will send it into recurrence.
