It is confirmed to be #1 on Billboard Pop? Her chart history on Pop Airplay on the Billboard is showing a peak of #2 with a peak date of July 15, 2023 (which is the upcoming chart about to be published) so I believe not. I don't understand how it didn't reach #1 on Billboard? They use a Friday-Thursday tracking period, and Karma was leading Calm Down on the Friday Mediabase update by 150 spins, and doesn't Billboard use Mediabase numbers now? |

I’m guessing Billboard uses audience cumes while MB is based on spins. Maybe it’s something else, like a different panel. Their main Radio Songs chart is AI-based, but Pop Airplay (as well as many of their other genre-based charts) are spin-based.

The way this song grew on me, even the Ice Spice version (#facts), is testament to Taylor's power. I definitely think this song is stronger than Lavender Haze and it looks like the public agrees!

I believe so, yeah. Since the Friday update reflects airplay through the end of Thursday, that would line up with the Billboard tracking week that now matches the Hot 100 tracking week.

Probably the final day at #1 given how slow "Calm Down" is falling. No replacing herself at #1 but "Cruel Summer" should be #1 in the next two weeks. Only 202 spins away from #1 on HAC though, so we still have that to look forward to regarding this song.
