'Calm Down' actually gained spins today for the record, which is total BS. 'Cruel Summer' wasn't going #1 this week anyway by my estimation, but if they needed to cut spins from anything to feed the exorbitant spin gains CS has had the past couple days, 'Calm Down' should be one of the songs at the top of the list.

Only 29 spins separate this and "Calm Down", Taylor could be in for a 1-2 finish if "Karma" holds up until this Sunday. Hits Daily Double's building charts has this one ahead of "Calm Down" by 72 spins as of yesterday so things are looking good for Taylor.

I expected radio to drop this much faster tbh. It always felt like they were pushing for it to go #1 just so they could move on to the better song "Cruel Summer".
Overall a massive win. I would love to see a push for "Midnight Rain" but it might have already done far too well too do to much damage as a fourth single + I think the smartest move is to let everything die down a bit once Eras Tour moves on from the US and her four top 10 albums drop down a bit.

It's not a shock to me this is having some staying power. Aside from her star being so bright, this is a much better track and better single than LH was, so radio probably likes spinning it versus that one.
