Random post.. I've never had clean versions. Lol I don't hate on anyone who has them, but even my niece when she like like 8 or 9, she is 20 now, I never let her listen to clean versions. She turned out okay haha I just don't understand clean versions. Honestly I have a mouth like a sailor so she has definitely heard it all but the copy we have was a gift from the more conservative great-grandparents. If 3am is released on CD I'll get the regular version. |

I usually put on our local Z100 for middle and high school and now I teach elementary so I put on IHR Kid Top 40 version. |

Unlike most clean versions with the whiteouts, Taylor actually took time to write new lyrics.
She wouldn’t have recorded alternate lyrics if they’re weren’t relevant to her vision of the track.
Glad to see it sprinting up the chart.

Given how well this is doing on radio, I can see this getting a new peak on the Hot 100 with the release of the music video. Perhaps Taylor will release some remixes or a CD as well to secure a top 5 placement on the Hot 100 in a few weeks or so.

I can't help but wonder if this is doing so well, Cruel Summer would probably be doing even better. Yeah since Karma already hit the Top 10 (#9) on debut week I can’t see it re-peaking. Cruel Summer on the other hand legit has a shot at #1 if they play their cards right, but the momentum is here now and I hope they don’t let it pass without giving it a proper release. |

With how on fire she is right now, In a few weeks I see no reason why cruel summer can’t be sent. Various artists have had dual singles impacting pop before when audiences are craving them. Maybe give this a few more weeks to breathe but both can likely co exist

I can't help but wonder if this is doing so well, Cruel Summer would probably be doing even better. CS is already top 20 on Spotify and pulling away further from Karma. It’s clearly the people’s choice and a potential song of summer 2023. Taylor has the power to have multiple songs smash simultaneously, but I do think her team should focus on pushing CS, at least with a properly timed remix with a high profile feature. |
