Anti-Hero did not test poorly and did not drop super fast. does anyone have current callout information? it's so annoying that it's behind a paywall now and the hit predictor website is hardly accurate since Unstoppable is still #1 despite going recurrent a month agoย You donโt need it. If Anti-Hero had bad callouts, it wouldโve struggled at numerous points along the way, with the last checkpoint being it wouldโve dropped like a rock once it hit one week at number one aka LWYMMD. Made You Look had really good callouts. Unholy had terrific callouts. Lift Me Up had really bad callouts. Lavender Haze probably has very middling callouts. Of course there at many factors at play, but generally speaking, it can be as simple as Iโm implying: songs that do well on the charts generally had good callouts. Songs with bad callouts donโt do well. Did Anti-Hero do well on radio? Absolutely. It did extremely well on radio. It streamed a ton, and was an 8 week #1. Iโm not sure what other signs anyone would need that it had good callouts, or what difference at this point it would make.

I think i've asked this before but who fills out callouts? Are these randomly done every few weeks with a new set of people?

I think i've asked this before but who fills out callouts? Are these randomly done every few weeks with a new set of people? It's done every week with a random set of people. Call outs is a literal term. They cold call people to participate in a survey. (Could be done electronically now too, I'm not sure, plus it depends on the company doing the research.) It's also worth noting that there are many, many, many call-out scores. Mediabase was the one we followed up until it went behind a paywall because it was the one most readily available to us. Rate the Music also exists, and we can see the top ten every week, but it's not random and is easily fixed by stans. Then there's a bunch more that are smaller and cover specific regions only. And finally, some radio stations just do their own research with no third party.

Anti-Hero did not test poorly and did not drop super fast. Anti-Hero was #1 on overall radio for 44 days and spend multiple weeks at #1 on both HAC and Pop radio. None of that was "super fast" and i'm assuming it will stabilize eventually I don't know about its callouts, but it is falling fast at Top 40 compared to some other recent #1s. "Unholy" passed it back despite being released and hitting #1 first. "A-H" also hasn't held on as long as "As It Was" and other songs with multiple weeks at #1. Maybe it will stabilize soon though, especially if "LH" peaks.

Doesnโt that answer the question about its callouts? So Unholy probably still has better callouts lol.
The song was well liked and spent 3 weeks at #1 on Pop radio. It was an 8-week Hot 100 #1 and has found the album selling like gangbusters. Iโm not sure what else people are looking to know.

I think they should move on to single number 3. Capitalize on the momentum of anti hero and the album. Lavender haze I fear may be a sinking ship..

Can we please just get enough of an upward push toward 9000 spins to ensure Nicki is down to #12 and certain recurrency on Sunday?

Dammit! Can we just get this to peak in the 7-10 range?!! Radio is so annoying. Transfer a few spins from AH to LH lol

Frustrating that Beiber and Ariana can simultaneously chart within the top 10 of CHR but Taylor is struggling, especially since LH is perfectly pop friendly. I wonder what the next move is here because the era has lost a lot of steam as of late.

At least she'll get past Nicki for #11 this Sunday, with the way SFG is losing spins; and barring any shenanigans the closest songs behind this are a reasonable way off so if things don't suddenly go south Taylor should have an opportunity to replace herself in the top 10.

Werenโt the callouts for Look What you Made me do abysmal throughout its run and it still pushed through to #1? While Iโm sure thereโs some correlation, I donโt think callouts are necessarily indicative of how well or poor a song will do, nor does a songโs performance necessarily indicate how well callouts are for it. Itโs still a guess at best.

A song can test decent and because of other factors not make many waves, or a song can test poorly and still be given a chance by radio if thereโs a big name or promotion behind it. But radio does not send a song to number one that people just do not like. LWYMMD was a polarizing song that also kept the callouts withheld for quite awhile.

I agree that radio isnโt going to play a song that will cause people to change the station but beyond that, I donโt think callouts are necessarily the indicator people here have always insisted they were, because weโve seen the numbers and LWYMMD was one of them. Iโm sure theyโre used as a guide, but thereโve been enough opposing results that thatโs really about it. I assume neither of us work in radio (I donโt) so assume is all we can do.

LWYMMD rode hype to the top region and then got a massive push to #1 once the awful callouts were released (it was already near #1 when they came out iirc). Plummeted after that.
Radio does seemingly choose to ignore bad callouts when they want to, but Taylor has had pretty bad luck there for the past while now.

I remmeber it got to #5, lost its bullet in a bad way - was down to like -500 weekly trend or so? And then within a week had a 3000+ bullet which made it go 5-1. Then the bottom dropped out and it feel back to #5 the next week. It was crazy!

Here I agree with you. Both that we can only assume and also that they are mainly a guide but donโt tell the whole story, especially as long as a song isnโt making someone change the station. I just think, in the context of Anti-Hero, someone was saying it must have tested poorly and it was dropping quickly โ and itโs like, girl, no. Lol

Overall radio: #19. Lavender Haze: 37.98 million AI
Top 20 on overall radio at least. Considering virtually everything ahead of it is dropping, it could secure a top 15 peak if it holds up until next week.
