K-Pop acts have done multiple crossovers with Japanese audiences - holding concerts and tours and making several songs in Japanese. In fact, part of growing as a K-pop group now are releasing Japanese singles or making Japanese covers of songs.

I really think they should at this point, though with less weight, maybe about as much or a little less than passive streams.

I feel like it would make more sense if they still counted UGC elsewhere, but as it stands I don't think they will/should. I'd love to see "The Loneliest Time" chart of course, but I don't think it'd be accurate to count the 5 seconds of the song people use as "streams" for the Hot 100. that part of the song went viral on Twitter as well, for example, and has over 2.8 million views—shouldn't that count too, then?

Third in what sense? In terms of overall Spotify streams it's at 669 million. That's behind "Me!" from that same album, as well as "Look What You Made Me Do," "Blank Space," and "Shake It Off" in terms of her solo singles. yup, that's one of the odd things about her stats due to her music not being on streaming for a while. remember when she put her catalog back on Spotify on Katy Perry's Witness release day?

I think those are just streams amassed while the songs were on the Spotify chart. That's why you don't see her older songs high up and why even the songs near the top are missing streams.
