2023 Billboard Hot 100 Year End Predictions (Year 11)

This is a bit random, but considering we’re almost in mid February and we have already witnessed a lot in general. Miley Cyrus and Shakira making comebacks, actual dynamic movements in the top 10 with decently strong points, The Weeknd continuing to once again make some sort of history, UK artists like Raye and Pinkpantheress making moves over here, Lil Yachty making a great psych rock album, and MW getting ready to drop a whole 36 song album to most likely massively bomb the charts when it happens given how the singles are doing really well.

Given that we most likely might see artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler The Creator, J Cole, etc, drop projects this year and will probably also get sizable album bombs should definitely bring more hype to what 2023 can turn out to become. This year has already been 100x more interesting than how it was at the same time last year, and i just hope the momentum keeps going from here as this is incredibly exciting so far.

I don't think the other songs that were in the 2022 YE that still hangs around has enough time to clinch a YE re-entry, particularly with the incoming Morgan Wallen album bomb (e.g. I Like You, About Damn Time, WAIT FOR U)

I still think Wait For U and I Like you will clinch, the album dosent come out for another 3 weeks so it should give them plenty of time to spinach a spot especially I Like You

Looks like I Like You is more likely to clinch than WAIT FOR U, the latter doesn't have enough points to sneak in, while the former has to just survive the next few weeks before the Morgan Wallen album bomb while maintaining points that would allow it to barely be in the Locked Cut-Off.

Billboard Year End Predictions (March Edition)

Most of these songs that haven't clinched yet are all dependent on how big the Morgan Wallen Album is

From my own listening experience (I think it’s really really good and might be slightly better than dangerous which is also really good) and public reception, I think the album bomb will be huge

140,000 is the cutoff
Superhero 100% Will Clinch Next Week
I Like You 100% ^
Spin Bout U 100% Even if Wallen knocks it off the charts should come back and clinch by the end of the month
Wait In The Truck 40% I think it gets to 135,000 but it needs to survive Wallen to clinch which I don’t think it will.Would Need Lower Cutoff
Wait For U 35% Same As Above but will get less points if knocked off next week
What My World Spins Around 20% Even If It Charts next week which isn’t a guarentee as it’s losing radio, it won’t pass 130,000 and probably won’t pass Last Christmas so it needs a even lower cutoff

One Thing At A Time is going to be the next single on country radio, there's almost no way that song doesn't make it. Last Night is strictly going to pop radio for now, and will probably go to country radio after OTAAT.

Also, Wait In The Truck is still getting pushed on country radio, so it might dodge recurrent rules or just return after getting pushed off. I think it's chances are pretty solid.
