Y'all worry more about Rihanna delivering than Rihanna herself. No one gives less of a fuck about Rihanna's music than Rihanna herself.

Lift Me Up has been rising in positions on both AM and Spotify, presumably because of Wakanda Forever releasing last Friday and how it was used in the movie.
Having just watched the movie awhile ago, I can't say I like the song even more or less but how they use the song is very good. You can probably guess how but I won't spoil just in case.

63(+11) Rihanna - Lift Me Up 467,599 (+41,705)
Yay. Hopefully with more Drake tracks falling and the movie boost it'll rise back into the top 40.
16(=) Rihanna - Lift Me Up (From Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Music From and Inspired By) 46.26(+0.89)
Hopefully it'll rise back into the top 10 in airplay again in the upcoming week. With "Unstoppable" and "Sunroof" falling, it should have a clear path into the top 10 with the other songs above it in the 11-15 range all falling/not gaining much.

I don't think he cares enough to push that particular song to #1, I think he cares about getting #1 in general but Drake is the kind of guy who will just surprise drop another song in a month to get a #1 hit in that case Drake obviously doesn't care enough to push the song considering there isn't even a music video. Drake hasn't even done the minimum usually done for singles, much less making any kind of push. Is "Rich Flex" even necessarily the lead single, or is it just the song getting the most streams? What is there to tell us its the lead?

It’s only like 2 additional weeks but still that’ll curb it’s influence Eh that won't really curb its influence. It will only remove like 1 week from its chart run as it usually debuts between 25 and 50 and then makes the top 25 from there on out. Last year its chart run was 36-12-3-2-1-1-1 so the top 25 rule would have only taken 1 week off its run.

How are people not tired of AIWFCY being played every Christmas season? Interesting you ask it about this song but not songs that are decades older and still get a lot of play ("The Christmas Song," "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," etc). Anyway, to answer your question more generally and not about "AIWFCIY" specifically, nostalgia and routine are clear parts of the holiday season for people. People want to see the lights, have hot chocolate or whatever, have their Christmas Eve/morning routine, watch their favorite holiday movies, and of course listen to the holiday songs they love.

Just for fun - The top 4 each of the last 3 years at Christmas -- probably no reason to expect anything different this year
1. All I Want For Christmas Is You, Mariah Carey 2. Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree, Brenda Lee 3. Jingle Bell Rock, Bobby Helms 4. A Holly Jolly Christmas, Burl Ives

I feel people need to realize already that a major driving factor for Christmas songs streaming numbers isn't necessarily individuals streaming the songs but more of cafe/restaurants, stores, and malls putting it on lol. There's a reason why Christmas songs tend to do very well in Amazon Music and why the streaming numbers tend to be pretty close to each other since its just thousands of places around the country playing songs from the same few playlists.

"Santa Tell Me" usually has a nice lead going into the season on streaming (see Nov. 1 data below) but falls slightly behind when the older classics begin to flood the charts. still, I feel like "Santa Tell Me" and "Underneath the Tree" will make the Top 10 eventually, if not this year. next year is Wrapped in Red's (Kelly's Christmas album) 10th anniversary so I could see Team Kelly giving it some sort of push. the year after that, in 2024, "Santa Tell Me" will turn 10 as well. 🤯
Ariana and Kelly's new song they put out last year, now I don't know about that one. I don't think people cared much for it?
