There's this misconception that the merch boosts from her store guarantee you a presale code or a higher place in the queue. The boost has nothing to do with the queue, it was just an extra "boost" to potentially get access to the presale code to get presale tickets. The boost was not advertised when purchasing any merch or music items at all, so nothing was promised, I honestly have no idea where you got this from.

I got that idea from here, but I guess it wasn't reported correctly or I misinterpreted it a bit.

^^One remix wouldn't have the same level of sales of those remixes released last week, which was definitely an anomaly. That said, it is on sale for 69 cents, which definitely makes it an easy catnip for hardcore Swifties. Not to mention that it is coincidentally only available through her webstore until the last minute that counts toward the tracking week.

If Drake could sell web store remixes, 329457 vinyl versions, and exploit his fans, I'm sure he would, too. There's probably not many people willing to pay for his music when it's already smashing without it and streaming is readily available.

If he cares like you say, why hasn't he at least made an actual music video? He's had great success with videos before and it could help him here, but he's not done so.

What i’m taking from this is that the remix will be enough to get Taylor to around 300 Hot 100 points, even with it only being available for about 11 hours in the tracking week. That should be enough to keep Rich Flex from being a threat, without having to go as overboard as last week.

You can't whip out actual music videos that quick, especially when 2 artists are involved, lol. They've already done a lot of the shooting they wanted together, including a "Jimmy Cooks" music video, plus performance videos for "On BS" and "Privileged Rappers." I wonder if they filmed one for "Rich Flex" at all or if they're trying to shoot it now.

Drake has not really been a music video tycoon lately, though. His music video for "Falling Back" (off of Honestly, Nevermind) sits at 16 million views 5 months later, "Sticky" is at 20 million views 3 months later. His last video to cross 100 million views is "Laugh Now, Cry Later," which sits north of 400 million views in just over 2 years (impressive). But as it stands, "Anti-Hero" video has more views than "Jimmy Cooks," "Falling Back," "Sticky" and the "On BS" and "Privileged Rappers" performances COMBINED.

I do, they're not bad tracks. I think Toosie Slide is probably fairly memorable for many people because it was one of the early pandemic hits that people were jamming to and making TikTok videos when first hitting quarantine. The video itself was of Drake in "quarantine" in his mansion.
