Everyone's got a different way of splitting the decades, for me I consider the "3" year of each decade the start of the decade's "core" section. Therefore, this is the first chart week of the core 2020s, exciting! While the early 2010s is still my favorite, music's been very interesting this decade so far, + I'm mostly happy with how it's currently evolving. Here's to a great 2023 - let's hope the chart freeze this winter isn't as brutal as last year!

it really depends on which day of the week Christmas falls. i’m guessing the question was brought up because Christmas is on Sunday, meaning those song will have significantly less traction for the remaining 4 days of the chart week.

I don’t really think it’ll make a big difference, though obviously their impact will be slightly less than what could have been had Christmas been a Wednesday or Thursday.

December 26 is still a solid day of streaming for holiday songs, so this 1/7 chart week will be 4 days of good streaming. Last year 6 holiday songs made the top 10 in the week that included Christmas, and that was with 3 days of solid streaming. I don't know how many you are expecting to stay in the top 10, but at least 5-6 seems very likely.

Bitch I can read thank you very much and I fear you haven't even given examples meanwhile I gave you an example of 3 songs from the same album that all sound different. Besides lets be real I doubt you've heard more than just his chart hits and even then those are different. It is all too common for people on this forum especially to do this often to Latino and Hispanic artists and it is so tired.

There is a spectrum of quality to reggaeton and all other subgenres of Latin pop, just like with any genre of music in the mainstream. That's been one of my big takeaways from following global charting hits throughout 2022, and I'm grateful to have come to that revelation after several years.

I think it depends on how well they do within those 3/4 days of strong streaming. And based on that, i'm thinking we're gonna get a repeat of last week with 6 Christmas songs in the Top 10, with Creepin subbing in for Nobody Likes Me.
