Q1: Pick 3 (part 2)
Can I pick SZA, Raye and Doja Cat?
Q2: Boy's A Liar "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2", the remix of PinkPanthress's TikTok-viral hit featuring Ice Spice, has gone viral over the past week. It's in the top 5 on Spotify and Apple Music as of writing this, and has the potential to be HUGE. The big question is, can it go all the way to #1? It will likely have to go through "Flowers" and "Kill Bill" to get there. Will "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" go #1 on the Hot 100 this year? (Thru 12/30 chart)
No
Q3: P!nk P!nk has her newest album "TRUSTFALL" coming out next Friday. To date, she has had an incredibly long and successful career. Her Hot 100 debut came in 2000 with "There You Go" (#7). After almost 20 years of making appearances nearly every year on the chart, she's finally started to see more commercial decline in the last few years, coinciding with her shift to a more Adult Contemporary sound. Now, she's promising the next album will feature a more upbeat danceable sound. Her 1st single "Never Gonna Not Dance Again" (#99) just debuted on the Hot 100 after several months of climbing on the radio. "TRUSTFALL", her second single, has not yet charted. a) Will P!nk debut any new songs on the Hot 100 next week? (3/4 chart) b) Will a P!nk song chart in the Top 40 this year? (Thru 12/30 chart)
a) no b) yes

1. Doja Cat, 21 Savage, Tyler The Creator (maybe a gamble but I'm going for it) 2. Maybe wishful thinking but if radio fully gets on board, Yes 3a. Yes but it'll be a Never Gonna Not Dance Again situation where it charts super low 3b. No

1. Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish (comeback), Lukey (super obscure artist who blows up on TikTok wildcard guess)
2. Yes, as soon as the 3/11 chart!
3. Yes, a song will debut somewhere in the 30s

A few of you selected Lil Nas X for the artist question. While technically he was ineligible (selected during the January draft), I did forget to list him as ineligible in the question. Since only 1 person chose him the 1st time around, and he hasn't announced anything yet, I'll allow those to count. 1^∞ - I'll count your responses to #1 and #2 (but not 3a/3b), since neither of those directly pertain to this week. Just a quick update, here is where our artist draft stands in terms of # of picks for each artist, through the first 2 drafts. I'll probably do one more draft in March! 19 - Olivia Rodrigo 16 - Taylor Swift 14 - Doja Cat 8 - Miley Cyrus 7 - Drake 7 - 21 Savage 5 - Luke Combs 4 - Dua Lipa 4 - Lil Nas X 3 - Billie Eilish 3 - Cardi B 3 - Ice Spice 3 - The Kid LAROI 2 - J. Cole 2 - Morgan Wallen 2 - Rihanna 2 - Zach Bryan 2 - Bad Bunny 2 - Ed Sheeran 2 - Lil Baby 2 - Lil Uzi Vert 2 - Polo G 2 - Tyler the Creator 1 - Lil Nas X 1 - Frank Ocean 1 - Lukey 1 - Raye 1 - SZA 1 - The Weeknd 1 - YoungBoy NBA

This week's questions (Deadline Thurs, February 23)This week we'll be doing a few artist battles! In each case, I will give you the names of 2 artists. Your job is to guess who will have more weeks in the Top 20 through June! *It's important to note, multiple songs simultaneously in the Top 20 will count for multiple weeks - i.e. The Weeknd will earn +2 for each week that "Creepin" and "Die For You" both spend in the Top 20.Q1: SZA vs Morgan WallenSZA is the queen of R&B right now, with her 2nd album SOS achieving widespread commercial success and critical acclaim. "Kill Bill" has held remarkable steady on streaming and probably has another month of radio gains in it. In addition, SZA has a bunch more songs which could easily become second singles with a multi-format radio push. Morgan Wallen is the king of Country right now. Every song he's released lately seems to chart ("Last Night" currently sits in the Top 5), and he's releasing a 36-track album on March 3rd. As country becomes more prominent on the major streaming platforms, Wallen has led the way. The only thing holding him back from complete chart dominance is pop radio's hesitancy toward playing country. Even still, he will likely be a mainstay on the chart this spring. Who will spend more weeks in the Top 20 through June: SZA or Morgan Wallen (3/11 - 7/1 chart)Q2: Miley Cyrus vs Ice SpiceMiley Cyrus, after several years without much chart success, has bounced back in a big way with "Flowers." Now, there's a lot of hype for her next album "Endless Summer Vacation" which is being released March 10. Will she have any more hits off the album? Ice Spice is having her breakout moment right now. After some memes last year, her collab "Boy's a Liat Pt 2" with PinkPantheress has blown up in a a big way. And her success is drawing in new listeners to her debut EP as well. "In Ha Mood" is on its way up the streaming charts. Who will spend more weeks in the Top 20 through June: Miley Cyrus or Ice Spice (3/11 - 7/1 chart)Q3: Chlöe vs Cardi BAfter years of releasing music with her sister as part of Chloe x Halle, Chlöe's debut solo album In Pieces is set to release on March 31. While the album is highly anticipated, her lead single "Pray It Away" ultimately did not chart. Her next single, a collab with Chris Brown, will likely get a label push. Will the hype from her dedicated fanbase result in chart success? Cardi B promises her new album is coming in 2023...but she's been saying that for years. Still, you can always count on Cardi to keep up a steady output of one-offs and collabs, which almost always perform well. Just last year, "Hot Shit" (#13) and "Tomorrow 2" (#9) spent time in the Top 20. Will she release anything this year? Who will spend more weeks in the Top 20 through June: Chlöe or Cardi B (3/11 - 7/1 chart)

1. sza thanks to kill bill EDIT: just read that multiple songs in the top 20 count for multiple weeks, changing my vote to morgan 2. ooooh this is more close than you would think but I am gonna say miley 3. kinda wanna say neither… but if i had to choose it would be cardi

1. Sza. I think another single could help with this if Kill Bill dies down but i think it’ll be one of the 5 biggest songs of the year so it might actually stay until then.
2. Miley. I know Ice Spice is on the come up and is really hot right now, but the hype for Miley is there again and really strong.
3. Cardi. The thing about this question is that we don’t know if she will drop anything within this time frame, but she’s more likely to chart in the top 20 if that’s the case compared to Chloe who has never had a hit reach that height before.

1. Morgan Wallen, he won't have a hit as big as Kill Bill but if multiple songs at once counts for multiple weeks he should win easily for the sheer number of hits he'll have
2. Miley, but it'll be close
3. Cardi (if she releases anything lol)

1. morgan bc album bombs but i wish it was sza 2. i'll go with the underdog and say ice spice, specifically bc i'm not sure if i see miley scoring any more big hits off her album and i could totally see ice spice get another big name collab and possibly a solo hit of her own 3. cardi but it wouldn't shock me if the total is 0-0 lmao

Thanks for accepting my response, goal is to get a perfect participation score 1. Morgan sadly EDIT: not changing my answer but there is an argument for SZA with a potential Die For You Remix, Snooze rising and deluxe tracks, and the Morgan tracks may not last as long as I think 2. Miley I think Ice Spice will have more songs reach the hot 100 and even top 40, but I don't think she's much of a stable Top 20 type of artist besides BAL, would love to be proven wrong on that I have a tickle that once Flowers gets off of #1 it'll fall quickly, would love to be proven wrong on that as well, but I think at this point it has to last the T20 to July, I think Miley will get a few tracks in the top 20 on release and 1 or 2 singles might be radio hits 3. Cardi If she releases anything it'll prob go top 20, Chlöe hasn't gone T20 yet, and maybe the CB feature would do it but I don't think or hope so.

1. Morgan - He's dropping like a million songs, they're all doing well and having longevity. On the other hand, Snooze + Seek & Destroy (let me dream) could be lasting top 20 hits but they're both maybes
2. Miley
3. Um... neither. But if one of them does get a big hit it'll be Cardi

1. Morgan...the bomb will give him a ton of entries and we know his songs have longevity. Sadly, SZA may only have "Kill Bill" in the top 20 2. Miley...even if no other singles click Flowers could very well be in the top 20 until July (but then so could "Boy's A Liar") 3. Cardi

1. Morgan Wallen - If it were just absolute weeks in the top twenty, I'd pick SZA because Kill Bill is looking to last forever. But seeing how his projects have performed previously, I'm seeing one long-lasting hit for Morgan Wallen to build up his point count and then a few album cuts lingering in the region for a few weeks to really drive him to the top.
2. Miley Cyrus - If Miley's album weren't coming out soon, this would be a super tough pick. But yeah, those album bomb songs are gonna help her a lot here.
3. Cardi B - I am very pessimistic about either of them this year lol but Cardi has a lot of lingering star power that should help her if she actually does drop.
