I didn't realize that "Once I Was the Light of Your Life" wasn't a bigger hit. At the time, that was my jam (well not jam, a slow sad one, whatever word fits). It's still a good jam in my opinion her music was great too bad she only released one album. While I'm at, shout out to Lila McCann and her version of "Almost Over You"

Here are a few that were probably mentioned but are my favorites
1 Ray Kennedy- What a way to go (great song wish it hit number one)
2 Robert Counts- What do I know
3 Jordan fletcher- Death and taxes (most underrated song of 2022 in my opinion)

My local non-corporate classic leaning country station plays What A Way to Go at least once a month.

They play many of the artists mentioned in this thread to this point as well. They play the best mix of everything up through about 2010 but do mix in a few songs since then but nothing new . The newest song they've played recently is One Night Standards, which surprised me but it is a good fit for them.

Haha I listen In to them every once in awhile to try to hear Ray Kennedy and now I guess “One night standards” too as I loved that song

Pretty sure it was a request from a listener.

Farmer’s Daughter would be the best example of this. They had two phenomenal albums in the 90s, then a third album and a greatest hits.

I can’t stop listening to Jordan Rager right now. Kind of a bummer he never caught on even though his music wasn’t really strong to most.

With how much support he supposedly had from the label and Jason Aldean I was sure he’d be massive. Then again the artists Aldean seems to back haven’t really taken off…(see: Tyler Farr).

Regina Regina - I loved their debut album
Farmer’s Daughter had a fair bit of success in Canada with their three albums, but they are outrageously talented I think should have been huge everywhere
Angela Kelman (lead singer) is a GOAT vocalist
