I love me some Carrie Underwood, but nothing sounds more hellacious than posting on a forum entirely dedicated to following her career. It's enough just seeing how some of her fans react to her chart runs on Pulse. Can we keep that energy over there please? Like there's no reasonable way any sane person can look at the way OOTT is doing and determine it's doing poorly by any stretch of the imagination. 🥴 Lol I tried joining CarrieFans years ago but I never got the confirmation email to complete registration. Maybe it was a sign. 😂

Sheesh today I found out Carrie Fans was a thing. Didn't realize that there are people out there that dedicated to an artist. Kind of shocked.

Sheesh today I found out Carrie Fans was a thing. Didn't realize that there are people out there that dedicated to an artist. Kind of shocked. I mean, there are people (and I’ll go ahead and admit I might’ve been one of them if I was well off) who forked over their limbs to scalpers for Taylor Swift tickets. Those same people, depending on how long they have been stanning, have at least one item from every single merch line she has ever dropped. Every variation of every cardigan. All eight folklore vinyls AND their respective CD variants. Copies upon copies of every album, in every format they were released in, as well as all other one-off CD/7” vinyl releases. I can’t say I blame them, if only for the collectibility and memory keepsaking of it all. There are definitely Carrie Underwood stans just like this, and I have seen people with as big of a collection of Carrie memorabilia as people have of Taylor. I imagine the only difference is that if she had an Eras Tour situation with her ticket sales, they’d unlikely be willing to pay scalpers for tickets.

Voted on AI, and is one of the few celebs/singers I keep up with, and like someone said buy every album. I don't buy all the merch, though lol Nor do I go to as many concerts as some. I've seen every tour once or twice depending on where she went.

I also have a CF account however i haven’t logged in since around christmas i think, mainly because i don’t like the changes that have happened in the last couple years, i hate all the pop up ads and navigation changes that have happened. Also a certain someone on there i feel is a little too bossy as well imo i feel like i can get my Carrie info just as good here, plus follow up on others that i want as well all in the same site, without the annoyances that i was experiencing on CF.

I haven't been on CF in probably about 12 years lol. Around the time Blown Away came out. Partially because I'm not *as* into Carrie as I was 12 years ago. Partially because that site just annoyed me towards the end.

Has this really stalled? I've been surprised at how weak the daily updates have been. Isn't this supposed to be the *lead* for the Deluxe version? Disappointing.

It’s moving up new positions week to week. It’s doing better than HMH was at this point, and HMH had way more momentum. This song doesn’t have any boost because it’s not a lead single for an album, so it had no momentum. Nothing to worry about or be disappointed about

Because of the massive logjam in the top 10, nothing has been able to move up any, even at the bottom half of the chart where Carrie is, other than Morgan Wallen. It looks like the logjam isn't going to break for a few weeks so Carrie might not be able to move up much until the logjam breaks. In the long run Carrie should get to the top 10 with this.

This chart run is gonna take some time, this is only 6 weeks old. Yes it is having an off week but spins are hard to get with the slow descents of "Last Night", and "Dancing In The Country" and "Fast Car" dominating the top of the chart.
Give this song time, this is the followup to a song that barely scraped the Top 20 with no buzz. Patience people, please.

I need Carrie stans to calm down and understand that we are not in the country radio landscape that we were in when she started out, and have not been for nearly a decade. Not to mention she torpedoed any new momentum she had from “If I Didn’t Love You” and “Ghost Story” thanks to the massive flop (for her) that “Hate My Heart” was, just barely sneaking into the Top 20. That song never hit the Hot Country Songs chart ONCE, and hit the Top 20. “Out of That Truck” is out-streaming 60-70% of the entirety of the Hot Country Songs chart and is only at #38, as it hits the Top 40 this week on the Country Airplay chart. This song is doing marvelously, particularly for a 40-year-old woman in country music. The kind of success some 20-something women in this format could only dream of. The histrionics never fail to make me cackle.

Kind of would like the music video to drop soon so maybe it could kick start the chart run a little bit though, with some new interest brought to the song. I'm fully prepared for this to be her longest chart climb, but I do think this should at least go top 10, when it's all said and done.

I’m one of the bigger Carrie fans you could find and I’m not worried about this at all. Plenty of songs have some weeks off, some weeks on. It just happens. It happens to everyone and this week it’s been Carrie’s turn. Not to mention the same five songs are taking a lot of airplay, and the charts aren’t moving much. This isn’t going to fly up the chart, Carrie has no momentum after HMH, at all. She has to regain that momentum, something she can do once OOTT eventually becomes a hit. Radio is taking a wait and see approach to this song, likely waiting on some conclusive callouts to come in before deciding to play it. But this one is connecting very well. It’s out-streaming over half of the entire chart. That’s amazing. That means it’s connecting with the general public, something I’ve seen regular, non Carrie fans saying online. HMH never once saw the HCS chart, and it went too twenty. Not to mention— OOTT is in its sixth week on the chart. It is literally higher than HMH was in its respective sixth week on the chart. This is and will be fine. It’s not doing bad, it’s just that radio hasn’t decided to play it yet. Give it time, I’m certain this will go top ten or even all the way. It’s gonna be slow at first, no worries.

Her music videos haven't made much difference for a while now though, especially if she is using that same director again.

Carrie sang this last night at the Minnesota show. It sounds pretty good live if I’m being honest. She killed it btw. She also did her cover of Paradise City and tore the place up. Even at age 40, she’s still an elite performer.
Was a bit surprised that she did HMH, especially after it flopped at radio.
All in all, an incredible performance.

And, while it didn't perform well, it's still among the biggest hits of the new record. She'll probably never play it at another tour/residency so might as well keep it for now.

Loses its bullet and falls out of the Billboard top 40. Hopefully it returns next week.

Yeah, Carrie obviously picked HMH to be a single for a reason. It underperforming doesn't mean much as far as the live show goes, and at the end of the day, it's still a bit more recognizable by having been a single than all the album cuts on D&R that she's also performing.

For future tours (not festivals) I think the only song that gets carried over from this era is either "Ghost Story" or "Out of That Truck" if it gets big. Ever since her Storyteller album she's only brought one song per album over to future tour setlists, and I really think one of those will be the only one that she will carry over.
I think she's only still doing HMH live because we are technically still in the D&R era, and it'd be more recognizable than one of the album tracks from the album.

Overall, it was a good balance and very similar to the D & R set list. The only difference was that she did trim her D & R songs down. She only did Ghost Story, Hate My Heart, Crazy Angels, Out of That Truck and Garden.
