Up 7 spots to #49 on Billboard Country Airplay this week I would say that's a nice jump! What was HMH's first few chart weeks? 60-55, but the audience totals for HMH were only slightly less than OOTT's so far. "Hate My Heart" started off fine, it kinda just stalled out once it got into the 30s and then limped thru the 20s. I don't expect that to happen to "Truck" since part of why HMH sputtered was probably the lack of impact it was making outside of radio, which won't be an issue this time.

I am still at the fact that OOTT is already climbing HCS, while HMH never even made that chart lol

From today's Monday Morning Intel, some very good numbers all around
Composite: 32
Airplay: 40
Airscore: 28
Callout: --
Audio: 19
Video: 44
Sales: 29
They also have OOTT ranked #8 on the MMI Action chart. "ACTION Songs are songs that are testing either in Callout or in Retention significantly higher than current Airplay rank. These songs are considered UNDEREXPOSED and deserving generally of greater airplay."

OOTT jumps three spots to #40 on the Hot Country Songs Chart.
This one really continues to connect and be a streaming hit!

Any of my fellow chart watchers think we should be concerned that this hasn’t appeared in the Mediabase top 50 yet? I know it doesn’t have much momentum going in, but it feels like it should’ve appeared already.
Just don’t want radio to treat this how they did Miranda’s “Strange,” which also connected relatively well on streaming, but for whatever reason, radio didn’t let get past the mid 40ss.

It was at 54 on Monday per Country Aircheck but with Townsquare having it in medium rotation and the stream of adds it’s been getting I think it will do fine. I think the outlook on this hasn’t changed much but if it doesn’t get in the top 50 within a few weeks then it’s time to worry.

Eh, I think it's fine. It was at #54 on Mediabase and Carrie Underwood is following the biggest flop of her career and it has only been on the charts for less than a month (today will mark Week 3 on Billboard). This chart run is definitely gonna take some time.

No reason to be concerned yet. It’s climbing steadily and Carrie has zero momentum following HMH massively flopping. For her level of momentum, it’s doing fine. It’s doing better than HMH, which had more momentum. It’ll be a slower climb but I have no doubt it’s fine and has a bright future. I imagine once callout scores come in, it’ll have a bit of a jump. Right now, they might expect callout to be bad but once it comes in good I think it’ll start moving faster

OOTT debuted on Monday Morning Intel‘s callout numbers today at #43. But I think it’s just too new for many people to have heard it and the numbers will rise. The callout is really % positive, which is skewed by how many people have been exposed to the song and it is a new song still, people haven’t heard it so it’s not that surprising that not many are saying positive opinion yet. I expect it will have low negatives in the end. Especially Because this is lower than HMH which radio hated, lol. So that one probably had high negatives

Callouts are most of the time low when a song debuts on the MMI so I’m not worried at all. Usually, they rise as the song gets more exposure through radio.
As long as the good streaming continues, I think this will be fine. The callouts should rise, as its exposure increases. This feels pretty inoffensive, and a lot more liked by the general audience than her recent singles, so I couldn’t imagine a terrible callout.

"Hate My Heart" had zero buzz and yet radio still took it to a Top 20 peak. If that song wasn't sung by Carrie Underwood and was sung by literally any other female it probably does Top 40 at best.

Because of name recognition it got where it did but then it hit a wall likely due to bad testing. Of course when I say radio I guess I should clarify and also say listeners as there was some reason it couldn’t get higher then 20. I think if they didn’t hate it, it would have made it to around 10-15, and then hit a wall due to lack of buzz. Perhaps “hate” was a strong word I just meant I assumed it had high negatives, that’s all

This is chugging along nicely! Up to #40 on Country Airplay, marking Carrie’s 34th top 40 single on the chart!

Agreed moving nicely now we just need more stations to add it. Doing very well considering the number of current stations is kinda low.

It’s also a good sign meaning big stations are playing it or it’s getting daytime airplay which it is on Townsquare Media stations. This is exactly what she needs to put her back as the biggest female artist before someone else passes her.

This is Carrie’s first solo single in a long time that has a zero burn for me, probably since “Dirty Laundry.”
Here’s hoping radio sends this to the top, or at least top 10. Its already nearing 20 million Spotify streams.

This has already passed "Hate My Heart's" stream count on Spotify (OOTT 17,206,749 > HMH 17,044,261)

There have been some postings on CF with some people saying that OOTT was supposed to be a hit and it’s just not. I personally don’t agree with this.. at all. It’s only been on the chart a month and Carrie herself just has no momentum. Not to mention how well this is streaming and connecting, i’m sure it will actually end up being a hit and think it’s way too early to have expected it to be a big hit and to say it’s not

Yeah this song is doing fine, Top 40 on Billboard and nearly Top 40 on Mediabase after 5 weeks of charting is pretty good especially since this is following "Hate My Heart" which while it did make the Top 20 on country radio had absolutely no buzz.
This is not gonna be a quick climb (don't be shocked if this climbs for over 30 weeks if not close to 40 if need be), but it is doing a solid and stable job climbing. Nothing to worry about at all.

Its already nearing 20 million Spotify streams. This is probably my least favorite Carrie's single in 10 years. But the Carrie fan in me still wishes it do well on charts especially on radio. Up until now the signs are pretty much encouraging and really hope it will carry on.

I will admit that this has burned on me somewhat. I probably overplayed it but maybe a music video would help (assuming we get one).

I love me some Carrie Underwood, but nothing sounds more hellacious than posting on a forum entirely dedicated to following her career. It's enough just seeing how some of her fans react to her chart runs on Pulse. Can we keep that energy over there please? Like there's no reasonable way any sane person can look at the way OOTT is doing and determine it's doing poorly by any stretch of the imagination. 🥴

Up to #39 on Billboard this week, its sixth week on the chart. HMH was at #41 on Billboard in its sixth week.
