I can't believe Trump sold 32,000 copies of his shitty song, the grifting never stops I guess. Maybe I should become a right wing grifter, it seems like easy money. Boomers keep purchasing these stupid political songs every year.

I think the charts just got really competitive over the past couple weeks and it's pushed Boys A Liar down a bit, it'll go right back up once Die For You and some other songs above it fall back

I think the charts just got really competitive over the past couple weeks and it's pushed Boys A Liar down a bit, it'll go right back up once Die For You and some other songs above it fall back Yeah. It also doesnât help that the streaming seems to be dipping a bit, but it will still have a long way to go before it drops below #6. Morganâs really gonna have the Top 2 for most simultaneous entries in a single week isnât he? Also the only debuts are 4 Miley Cyrus songs lmao.

That said, with streams combined, Die For You would be the number one song this week. The gap is thin between Last Night and Boy's a liar Pt. 2 so who knows if it'll last. Shockingly was the fact Flowers didn't rise more, despite being a huge smash hit, it only gained 10%, a sign for the underwhelming numbers her MEDIOCRE album got. With many songs simply moving back into place, there weren't that many gains this week. Notable Gains:

I can't believe Trump sold 32,000 copies of his s**tty song, the grifting never stops I guess. Maybe I should become a right wing grifter, it seems like easy money. Boomers keep purchasing these stupid political songs every year. iâm surprised Iâm not seeing it on predictions. Where would 32k land you on the hot 100 without radio and less than a million streams?

The fact that Miley, Selena, and Ariana are gonna be in the top 10 together while Demi is nowhere to be found And Taylor. Who would've thought back in 2009 they'd be slaying together 14 years later?

The fact that Miley, Selena, and Ariana are gonna be in the top 10 together while Demi is nowhere to be found Demi really imploded her career after the huge high that was "Sorry Not Sorry" and the Tell Me You Love Me album being really good.

I donât understand what made yâall to believe Miley would do good with her album. Yes the huge success of Flowers is really nice to see and can be taken as a resurgence of her career, but that doesnât mean that sheâs automatically going to now start doing these smash numbers. Flowers is just one song with the support of tik tok and the right promotion behind it, and that doesnât usually translate into albums.

Donald J. Trump & J6 Prison Choirâs âJustice for Allâ Debuts at No. 1 on Digital Song Sales Chart Proceeds from the song benefit those incarcerated for the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Thousands of supporters for US President Trump pack the Washington Mall for a rally in Washington, DC on Jan. 6, 2021. JOSEPH PREZIOSO/AFP via Getty Images Donald J. Trump and J6 Prison Choirâs âJustice for Allâ enters Billboardâs Digital Song Sales chart (dated March 25) at No. 1. The recording sold 33,000 downloads March 10-16, according to Luminate. Of the songâs sales in the tracking week, 39% occurred March 11, when its official video premiered on online video sharing platform Rumble. All charts dated March 25 will update on Billboard.com Tuesday, March 21. âJustice for Allâ is a recording of former U.S. President Trump and a group of men imprisoned for their involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. In the song, he recites the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance, mixed with the J6 Prison Choir singing âThe Star-Spangled Banner.â According to CNN, and as reported by Variety, the J6 Prison Choir requested that Trump be part of the song. He agreed and recorded his audio at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Fla. Per Forbes, the prisoners recorded their vocals by phone and the track was âreportedly produced by a major recording artist who [has] not [been] identified.â On Jan. 6, 2021, a joint session of Congress was held at the U.S. Capitol during which electoral college votes were to be counted formalizing the victory of President-elect Joe Biden. Starting at 12 p.m. ET that day, at a rally at The Ellipse in Washington, Trump repeated his debunked allegations of voter fraud and urged his supporters to take action: âIf you donât fight like hell, youâre not going to have a country anymore,â and that, âI know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.â There has been no evidence of widespread voter fraud or other irregularities during the 2020 election. Subsequently, more than 2,000 reportedly breached barricades and entered the Capitol. That afternoon, Trump took to Twitter to say that he was âoutraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem that occurredâ and to tell supporters to âgo home in peace.â Five people died during the event or shortly before or after, with 138 police officers, among others, injured. By early Jan. 7, the counting of electoral votes was completed and then-Vice President Mike Pence announced Biden President-elect and Kamala Harris Vice President-elect. An impeachment of Trump, charged for incitement of insurrection in the attack, was held Jan. 13, 2021. He was acquitted in the February Senate trial, resulting in a 57-43 vote in favor of conviction, short of the 67 needed. Nearly 1,000 people have been charged with federal crimes related to the attack on the Capitol in the over two years since it occurred. The songâs video on Rumble is sourced to conservative commentator Ed Henry, who, according to Forbes, reportedly joined Trump to oversee the songâs creation, with recipients of funds, per Forbes, to be âvetted to make sure proceeds do not benefit families of people who assaulted a police officer.â

Flowers is just one song with the support of tik tok and the right promotion behind it, and that doesnât usually translate into albums. Anything can happen. On the flip side, we saw what 1 smash did for Olivia Rodrigo and how Taylor was able to have a much bigger album with Midnights than her prior ones with just Anti-Hero being a huge song. Nobody ever expected her to have a 'Flowers' sized smash to begin with and she did that so there wasn't really this 'you should've known what numbers to expect' attitude going into this album like you are passing off. Anything was fair game and I can see why some people may have believed she would do much bigger numbers. And no, I wouldn't say Flowers is a 'TikTok supported song'. It was a huge song and naturally TikTok reflects popular culture, so it was used on the platform a lot. However, I wouldn't say its success directly stemmed from TikTok.

Anti-Hero wasn't released before the album so I'm not sure how that relates to this. Also, Olivia had deja Vu and good 4 u released before her album not just one song to get the hype going. And Anti-Hero helped Midnights achieve far more longevity than Folklore, Evermore, Lover, and Reputation had at this point. It was her biggest hit in years like Flowers, and largely elevated her album. The point was that sometimes a single huge hit does elevate the album/era very strongly, sometimes it doesn't. None of it is given. Olivia works as an example because it was also the similar ex-boyfriend narrative going into the era. And you're pointing out Deja Vu & Good 4 U being released prior which became huge... off of Drivers License. Again, 1 single song laid way for her entire era to dominate the year. She had a smash hit, got huge media coverage, is under a new label, and public image has gotten considerably better. It isn't really shocking that people were very optimistic with just how much her album could do. It's a perfect comeback story.
