Lady Gaga's sixth studio album, Chromatica, was released on May 29, 2020. Chromatica is a pop album with dance influences and is considered a return to Gaga's dance pop roots. The album peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned 3 singles [2 US singles] (Stupid Love, Rain On Me, 911). There is also a Target edition of the album.

It's an enjoyable album and a nice return to form. My only complaint was around the songwriting, some of the songs are lacking in the hooks, bridges, etc. and feel rushed. If she hadn't caved into streaming trends and made every song so short, I feel like she could have fleshed them out more.

It's a very good dance-pop record. It doesn't top The Fame, The Fame Monster, and certainly not Born This Way for me. The songs that followed Chromatica II and Chromatica III, apart from Stupid Love and Rain On Me, were by far the BEST parts of the album.
Most of the songs on Chromatica I felt flat and hookless. Things finally started to pick up and get interesting around Chromatica II.
