Sounds similar to her other uptempo tracks from this cd which I like.
At first listen I thought it was ok but after another listen I liked it a bit more.
I think it’s going to be a grower for me.
It’s by far my favorite out of the 4 added tracks.

This is the only deluxe cut I like, sonically similar to Read Your Mind which means its in my top 3 for the album.
The other 3 deluxe cuts didn't really pique my interest at all sadly.

Honestly surprised they didn’t push this sooner since it’s been a while since Nonsense fell off. I listened to this a lot in the spring, so I’m glad it’s becoming a hit no matter the timing.

I'm unsure if they will send another single though considering this is the fourth single from the album now (although I guess it's possible, since they didn't send "Skinny Dipping" or "Fast Times" to radio). It might be worth noting that one station, KENZ, has been giving it about 50 spins per week since May, so it would be amazing if other stations got on board too! “Read Your Mind” is my favorite right after “Fast Times and Nonsense”.
I’m into “Feather” as well, but I kind of wish they went with “Read Your Mind”.
I really like a lot of her music and hope she keeps pushing stuff out.

I'm still shocked her label didn't even attempt "Fast Times" on radio, it might not have been a guaranteed smash, but it could've gotten a cute top 25 peak at the very least. But, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if she/her label decides to move onto the next album instead of pushing a third radio single. |
