There's several songs on the album I like more than this, but this is a fair choice, and honestly has the poppiest hook on the album. There's moments on this where I almost think Kings of Leon picked up Hayley as their singer, though, and I can't quite shake it.

The has to be the second time where I made a suggestion tweet to a band's label, and the label actually follows through with said suggestion...LOL. Not really, actually. I mean, this was always meant to be the next single from the album, but I don't know the reason why Atlantic didn't send it to radio earlier though. This is, actually, their next single. I guess it's going to be a matter of days (or weeks?) to be properly pushed to radio. |

This took forever to get pushed. I liked The News so I wouldn't have minded seeing that either but it's not as strong a second single.

I’m guessing the timing is because they kick off their North American tour this month and want something new for the stations who will be helping to promote it.

I mean, The News and C'est Comme Sa were right there (i would add You First but idk if that'd make a good single) but this is still a great song and a good single choice.

Appearing on the spincrease list with 60 spins and 2 early adds showing up ahead of the Tuesday's adds date (in addition to the 8 adds from this week). I think it'll end up in the top 50 by Sunday's update.

honestly this doesn't necessarily strike me as the single when there are songs like the news / big man, little dignity / crave but i probably like this better then all those so no complaints. happy to see it climbing, could easily see it being a second top 10

For what it's worth, Audacy is currently blocking this. None of their stations have added this, which is putting this at a disadvantage at Billboard where they are still at #14, as all of the Audacy alts are on the Billboard panel to my knowledge. To the point where Cannons, who are 8 spots lower and are Audacy-backed and have less MB-support, are above them at Billboard.
It should be noted that Just Pretend managed to get the #1 with an iHeart block on their bigger stations, and Emergency Contact also managed a #1 with most Audacies having that at low rotation.

yea audacity blocking this is. strange since it's by an alt veteran and it doesn't strike me as an overly heavy or otherwise polarizing song ?? still, im satisfied with how well this one did
